This war is puny compared to WW2. Between 1941 and 1945 Russia lost 10 million men. In this conflict Russia only loses 30,000 men per year. There's hardly any tanks or artillery pieces. Low hundreds at best. You should watch battle of Kursk to get an idea what WW2 was really all about.
