Russia liberated Avdiivka, vovchansk, Urozhaine, Novopokrovsk, Ocehertyne, Novobakhmutivka, Novoaleksandrivka, Arkhangelsk, Keramik, Krasnogorovka, Olivia, Tonenke, Sieverne, Lastochkyne and many more.

Remember Staromaiorske, that Ukrainians spend so much men to take from Russia? Less than a year later it's back in Russian hand

Russia has taken only about 550 sq kms in the last 7 months at the cost of tens of thousands of soldiers and thousands of pieces of equipment. Thats a massive failure especially given the manpower, artillery, and equipment advantage it had in the winter and spring and practically no aid from the West.

During Ukraines Kharkiv offensive in fall 2022, it liberated over 12,000 sq kms in 3 weeks.

It’s clear that Russia is losing the initiative and momentum is beginning to swing back to Ukraine as large quantities of Western equipment is arriving.

Won't make any difference mate.

Comedian WILL lose - just a matter of time.

Yep, just as ineffective as ATACMs right? Oh wait, ATACMs have been slaughtering Russian air defense assets for the past month.

The last successful Ukrainian operation is the dual counter offensive in Kharkov and Kherson, in early 2023.

Then there's the onslaught to wrestle Bakhmut, which Russia won.

After that, everyone is bracing for Ukraine to expel Russia from Zaporizhia and cut through all the way to the Azov sea. As we all know the offensive was massive flop. Ukraine only manages few small villages, capturing most notably Blahodatne, Makarivka, Staromaiorske and Urozhaine in Velyika Novosilka sector and Robotyne in the Orikhiv sector before they stopped out of exhaustion.

Not even a year from this disaster, Robotyne and Staromaiorske is back to Russian hand.

Since then, Russia has captured the fortress of Avdiivka, followed by the conquest of Avdiivka and it's surrounding village of vovchansk, Urozhaine, Novopokrovsk, Ocehertyne, Novobakhmutivka, Novoaleksandrivka, Arkhangelsk, Keramik, Krasnogorovka, Orlivka, Tonenke, Sieverne, Lastochkyne. While in the Bakhmut front, the Russians are pushing towards Chasiv Yar, capturing the nearby Bohdanivka and Ivanivske.

On the Kharkov front, they're capturing at least 6 more villages and are currently advancing on Vovchansk city center.

Ukraine is simply the looser here and continue loosing ground.

That’s a long winded reply that ultimately comes to the same conclusion as mine. 🤣

That Russia has gained little ground at the cost of enormous amounts of manpower and equipment. Russias offensive has been a failure, just as Ukraines summer 2023 offensive was. Arguably more with the amount of attrition it’s taken.

Momentum is now swinging back in favor of Ukraine as Russias offensive is essentially frozen on multiple fronts including Kharkiv.
