But why though?I said it many times before and I say it again
China must step in and stop the gang rape USA and her brown nosing doggies are doing to Russia via Ukraine
CHINA SHOULD OPENED HER ARSENAL TO RUSSIA, AND PUT CHINA BOOTS ON GROUND ALONGSIDE OF RUSSIANS
It is time China open up her arsenal to Russia
And help Russia to complete the de nazification and demilitarisation of Ukraine and NATO
From a realist point of view, China does have the ability to end the war and is probably the only viable core mediator for the final peace talks, but it can only do so by doing... exactly nothing at all
What makes China an increasingly appealing mediator/adjudicator for international conflicts? It is precisely because China while it has the power for unilateral moves both militarily and not, chooses to be neutral, having valid diplomatic ties with both sides of the conflict instead of trying to unilaterally tip the scale and strongarm an outcome down the parties' throats. What you suggest is precisely what changed the US' 1970s popularity to the current notoriety in the Middle East, and that is unilateralism which I thought the Chinese were against.
To maintain this impartial standpoint, China should refrain from directly selling military equipment to Russia before the conclusion of the conflict - not that it is necessary to begin with. Anyone viewing the Ukraine conflict with any objectivity should acknowledge that the status quo for Ukraine, aka averaging 5-digit personnel loss per month, 1/2 fatality to casualty ratio, while conscription can only make up for half the attrition, is unsustainable. Selling Russia Chinese arms does not change the trend or the expected outcome. Keep in mind that while Russia is factually an ally of China, it is nevertheless its own sovereign entity and pursues its own interest, rather than China's, first and foremost. From China's point of view, it doesn't matter how much sacrifice Russia need to make to achieve the final victory so long as it does.
As for the denazification of Ukraine and demilitarization of NATO, that's going along pretty well themselves without intervention.
