The Labor party is no longer a party for the little guys like it used to be. Today it's an elitist war party.
I also wonder if Russia's operation in the west of Kursk is not actually intended as the precursor to a major push to reclaim the territory, I agree with some analysts assessments I have read, that strategically Russia is better off with Ukrainian resources in Kursk than withdrawn. Ukraine HAS been trying to withdraw some resources from Kursk to reposition in Pokrovsk, but they can't, at this point anyway, afford to withdraw completely. A significant successful attack by Russia could just be a feint to force Ukraine to keep its resources in Kursk, where they serve no useful purpose strategically for Ukraine and stop them going back into the Donbass, where they would?
