yes Russia has more men, more weapons but it hasn’t unlimited money. let’s do a quick math.
Oil is Russia biggest revenue.
Russia has increased oil exports from 2.4,m barrels per day to 4.1m barrels per day.
70 percent of the oil are transported by marode shadow fleet.
alone to build up the fleet Moscow pays $10 billion.
if taking $70 per barrel in calculation Putin earns $287 million per day, or $105 billion per year.
but that giant money mountain just covers 1/3 of the war costs per year.
so the russians need to seek 2/3 of the money elsewhere.
selling more other natural resources to China
raising taxes
more borrowing
emptying sovereignty funds
eating gras
eating insects
