Why would they do that? Saudi needs US investment and technology and the US to buy their oil. What the heck is Russia going to buy?

Russia is a China client. China has better technology than the US.

Although I choose China over USA anyday, I do not know if China has better technology than USA.
USA is still the most technologically advanced nation on earth.

The US has decayed since the end of the Cold War. The US is too old. China is the young guy. The US cannot compete with China.
