Ukraine wants to be independent, western aligned, and free from Russian tyranny. I support their just and righteous defense. It’s really that simple.

The US has brought the most prosperity the world has ever seen over the last century.

Ukraine wants to be a part of that prosperity, which is why they want to be Western aligned. Ukraine has put up an incredible defense for that independence. They certainly don’t want to go back to corrupt Russian puppets like Yanukovich.

Prosperity or dollar hegemony and resource be it human or natural exploitation on a global scale? China didn't need to give up sovereignty to prosper mate, even Russia, they just had to trade and trade goes both ways.

The world has advanced more in the last century than the previous three thousand years combined and that’s largely due to US science and technological advancement.

China advanced only because it became a fast follower of the US in science, technology, and capitalism. China lives in the shadow of the US.

Ukraine wants western prosperity. They don’t want to live as a Russian puppet state and eternal poverty.

The question you should be asking is not why NATO and western prosperity has moved into Eastern Europe, but why those countries chose to be aligned with the West.

It’s because they understand what Soviet and Russian subjugation brought them. Ding ding, we have a winner.
