The world has advanced more in the last century than the previous three thousand years combined and that’s largely due to US science and technological advancement.

The world advanced due to the age of enlightenment and the industrial revolution. US only start to contribute alot after WW2. Nobody is denying the contributions of the West, but prior to WW1, US was just a hillbilly country copying European stuff.

China advanced only because it became a fast follower of the US in science, technology, and capitalism. China lives in the shadow of the US.

Japan was also a follower and look where they are today. Learning and improving is a Chinese trait, until you reach a certain point, you start innovating. Why do you think the West is panicking now? Lolol. Blind arrogance will be the source of US decline.

Ukraine wants western prosperity. They don’t want to live as a Russian puppet state and eternal poverty.

You can have prosperity without being in a Military alliance mate. Don't need to be a vassal to grow. Well if you are still oblivious to this mistake, I have nothing to say, it is beneficial for China. Had Russia been given a seat on the table, China would have been cluster fcked. NATO would have been on our doorsteps and Western hegemony would have been guaranteed for another century. There won't be a mil dead white guys and a destroyed Ukraine. Hey if you think expanding NATO without Russia is smart, good for you. Lololol.

The question you should be asking is not why NATO and western prosperity has moved into Eastern Europe, but why those countries chose to be aligned with the West.

NATO and economic prosperity are two different things mate. You can be like the Swiss. Play smart and be in the middle to gain from both sides. Just my two cents, but heck US will fight till the last Ukrainian, who cares right? NATO should have been dismantled the moment USSR collapsed, they should have invited Russia in and make them feel European instead of getting humiliated over and over again. But hey, you guys think it is a strategic genius move and now look at the mess. Common sense man, a quality lacking in the West it seems.

It’s because they understand what Soviet and Russian subjugation brought them. Ding ding, we have a winner.

Soviet subjugation ended in 1991 mate, 30 years ago. They could have been having the cake and eating it too. They could have gotten cheap gas, played both sides for concessions and grew economically. But hell, they chose to betray their own slavic brethren, they pay the price now. Trump is actually smart to know the real threat were the Chinese. Who gained the most in this war?
