Russias stated aims since 2014 is the defence of the russian speaking population in Eastern Ukraine

This turned into freedom of eastern Ukraine from the crimea to the donbass


Ukraine will NOT be allowed into NATO, the orange boob has already stated that in negotiations they ensure Ukraine is kept out for atleast 20 years to appease Russia

And Russia will complete the freedom of Donbass soon and unless Ukraine submits through negotiations (pushed by trump) then the Russians will aim for Odessa and make Ukraine a land locked state

The Ukrainian state will be preserved but punished and weakened to the point it is no longer a threat to Russia. Ukraine's population will eventually drop to and stabilize at about 20 million people.

A weak Ukraine is good for China. Ukraine will depend on imports of consumer electronics and cars from China. China will have political influence over Ukraine.

Nope, its intention was to capture Kyiv, the majority of Ukraine, overthrow the Zelensky government and install a Russian puppet. They failed miserably. I remember the Battle of Hostomel and Battle for Kyiv perfectly well, so stop insulting my intelligence.

Ukraine will be integrated into the West and be vehemently anti-Russian for decades to come. This is what matters, Russia has lost Ukraine.

No one cares about the Donbas. The expansion of NATO with Finland and Sweden, and Ukraines independence acts as an anti Russian Western buffer against Russia. 700K dead and wounded Russians, Russian Army in ruins etc

Clearly a strategic victory for the US
