How come is it possible for Ukraine to hold onto the areas in Kursk province that they have conquered for so long despite being heavily outnumbered?

There is zero geographical barriers in that region. It is flat land (open fields) with some forest.

This really speaks volume about the ineffectiveness of the Russian military.

Talk about desperation to need to import 10.000 North Korean soldiers.

Russia's entire aura as some kind of invincible superpower only slightly behind the US, has really been shattered completely in Ukraine.
