The Chinese have not fought a real war for decades. No one knows if the soldiers are battle ready, or if there equipment is good enough. Perfectly choreographed goose stepping soldiers on annual parades are not really a good indicator.

Lets leave the one race is better than another race to the side.

The current Chinese armed forces have no actual combat experience, none since the Vietnemese conflicts which did not go too well for China. You can pretty much assume that most of the actual "chinese command staff" in the PLA have no war time experience since Vietnamese conflict. Even that was a small localised conflict and not what China will face against a larger more determined peer.

Chinese are more capable than the woke Western armies which don't even dare send a single soldier to fight in Ukraine. Remember, in the 1800s, the Brits beat Russians in Crimea.

The west are professionals at war, there is very rarely a time when they are not engaged in war. When the west do decide to wage war, they go all out. Why should the west waste their soldiers in Ukraine when they can have the Ukranians fight it out for them. Dont read too much into Ukraine, and dont overestimate what China can do

We will find out what China can do, when it kicks off with Taiwan soon as the Americans are coming for both China ( and Iran ).

Ukraine will eventually lose all of Donbas to Russia. Western manufacturing is not what it used to be before the Cold War ended. Today's Western people are woke, lazy, unproductive compared to Cold War era Western people.
