I didn't say Russia will withdraw from Ukraine due to interest rate and inflation. I said the war is going to keep going and you and I will be here again next year and we would still be talking about "Ukrainian line is about to collapse".
I said the economy is going to hell with interest rate and inflation even if Russia HAD WON. That have no bearing on Ukraine see nothing currently at the negotiation table to "talk" again, what Russia can ask Ukraine to concede when they themselves have issue even trying to take 20%, just 20% of Ukrainian land. Would you think Ukraine would drop NATO bid because Russia is currently occupying 20% of Ukraine territories? Theoretically, the only thing Russia could ask is for Ukraine to vacate Donbas so Russian can occupied as a whole, but then Ukraine could and most likely will say no, because why I would even want to cede land to you that you haven't been able to capture in 3 years? If you want them? Come and get it.
Also, US is not a big player with Ukrainian aid anymore. There were NO aid Package passed by US Congress for 10 months the last package passed is the one that drag on since November and passed on April 2024. That is the reason why EU finally surpassed the US as major doner to Ukraine. How did the last 10 months goes? Oh, Kursk got invaded and they still can't take Pokrovsk........
As I said, this war is going on because there is still no point to talk, you can think whatever you want and think Trump can change this, he can't, and the only thing left to do is for me to come back next February and said "I've told you so" when we are still commenting on this thread
