The fighters stayed on the wing tips of the bomber as they tilted changing altitude and angle. This was a salute of Putin, not a show of force to intimidate him. Ultimate respect was shown. But you didn't provide the evidence of millions of Ukrainian deaths, rapes and total destruction by Russia.
Your buddies insist the opposite (destruction of Russia, no notable land capture/breakthrough/progress and virtually nonexistent Ukrainian deaths).

Russia is not our friend. Infact Russia is largest friend and partner of our biggest enemy India and on the other hand Ukraine is much more closer to Pakistan as friend and strategic ally. It’s Year 4 and the Russians have been so thoroughly humiliated you can’t even define what victory looks like for Russia anymore. If this war was about the east, the war would have been over 3 years ago.

The Russians have accomplished almost nothing this year. The Sumy offensive failed and Pokrovsk STILL hasn’t been captured and the summer campaign ends in 2 weeks.

And as I’ve said for the last year, whether Russia captures the Donbas or not, it won’t change the strategic outcomes of the war.
