The Russian army continues to attack Ukrainian energy facilities. Videos show drone strikes on Ukrainian transformer substations, wind turbines, and other energy facilities. As for this war, pretty much hopeless
Putin will not stop until he is satisfied.
Millions more will die and cripple.
The EU will put forward with 20th sanctions package.
As I did predict at the beginning the only way to stop this war is
bankrupting Russia economy by sanctions and isolation, in return the war machine will stop or Ukraine arny can inflict 5-10 million Russian casualties or both.

Russia's demands seem somewhat clear: give up the four provinces (by war or withdrawing), don't join NATO, and no European/US troops near Russia. not palatable to Ukraine as no one wants to give an invader their territory but they can either do it now or wait another 5 years instead.

the demands to impose limits on the size of the Ukrainian army are clearly unreasonable and a poison pill, I am not sure if it's just a bargaining tool

That’s just tactical shit: 1 step forward, 1,000 steps afterwards.
Putin’s endgame has not changed. he wants to annihilate Ukraine as nation and race. It’s written by himself in the assay before the war.
But his endgame is more than Ukraine.
He wants to destroy Europe, he wants to push the US out of continental Europe.
That’s in the ultimatum in paper by the Russians to the NATO a week before the war.
Russia is a one man show.
I always am amazed why people don’t read what Putin says and writes?

Already impossible.

Poland is on the Russian border. So is Finland. You can see Russia from Alaska. Then add in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
