The Russian army launched a missile strike on Kyiv on the night of August 1. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the attack involved four Zircon missiles, 27 Iskander-M missiles, two Kh-31 missiles, two Kh-59/69 missiles, and 185 drones of various types. The video has been edited to show the missile impacts and the operation of Ukrainian air defenses.
The missile strikes in Kyiv hit the following targets:
a radio-electronic industry facility (State Enterprise "Radioizmeritel"), which manufactures components for Neptune-MD guided missiles, FP-7, -9, and Grom-2 tactical ballistic missiles, and develops inertial navigation systems for Fire Point's FP-1 UAV;
a radio-electronic industry assembly plant (Kyiv Burevestnik Plant), which produces electronic components and parts for UAVs, as well as developing and manufacturing radar equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
an industrial facility (Fire Point LLC), which manufactures components and warheads for the FP-5 Flamingo ground-launched cruise missile; the facility also stores chemicals used to produce solid-fuel boosters;
an industrial facility (PV Group Ukraine), which manufactures and stores hardware and software for Lima electronic warfare (EW) systems;
a UAV assembly and storage site, where interceptor drones are assembled and stored.
