Russia - Ukraine war part ll. News and Discussions

Ritter is a stooge? Ritter was lead UN weapons investigator in charge of ferreting out Iraqi WMDs. He did a very good job by all acocunts. Hard-nosed, dogged, 100% professional.

By comparison, you're a nobody. Zero street cred, nothing but common garden variety internet fauna. :ROFLMAO:

BTW even if you don't respect Riitters opinion, the other names I listed are all unimpeachable, universally recognised and held in high regard, and their opinions conform with those of Ritter. Somewhere along the line even NAFO fluffers must eventually realise that they are peddling a cartload of dog excrement that no-ne wants to buy.
do you know Gehard Schröder? He served as Germany’s gov chief. After retirement now also, served as cheap stooge. Same same. Putin has oil, gas, nukes. That makes Putin sexy.

He also has a few other things, including world class nuclear reactors and agriculture that is a net food exporter. It isn't just weapons.

Russia has enormous natural wealth and a very large and well developed industrial economy. Unlike the West however they don't have an economy optimised to inflate raw numbers based on speculative financial churn. I'd rather have a real world economy that clothes, feeds, educates, etc its population than a random-number generator that makes 1s & 0s and grossly enriches a corrupt ruling class. Russia is no utopia, and has plenty of her own problems (inequality is far too high, a lasting legacy of the Oligarchy of the 90s) but claims Russia is economically small and backward are just demented. Her enemies are jealous clowns that are obsessed with raining on her parade.

.Russia is the world’s fourth-largest economy, with a relatively low level of debt. It has not collapsed under the weight of heavy sanctions. It is a highly industrialized nation. Recently, the Russians struck a bridge in Kyiv using an Iskander missile. The accuracy was quite good, though the Iskander’s warhead is too small; FAB-series bombs would be needed instead. Unfortunately—contrary to various opinions previously expressed on the RDF—Russia does not possess total air superiority over Ukraine. Delivering FAB bombs to Kyiv would be a difficult task.

Doug McGregor lays out the reality with Glenn Diesen. To properly understand the Ukraine war this is a must see.

Footage shows the destruction of five Ukrainian drones—of an unidentified type—by a Russian Strela-10 surface-to-air missile (SAM) system. The video was recorded by the 74th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, part of the "Center" grouping of forces, in the Dobropillia direction. The 9K35 Strela-10 system entered service with the USSR in 1976 and has since undergone multiple upgrades. The Strela-10 air defense system is capable of engaging targets at a range of up to 5 km. Despite its age, the system remains effective at downing certain types of drones.
