I suggest you read up a bit.

Russian boomers more modern than the USN.

They have less nuclear subs yes.

But they have done a pretty decent job in the last decade

Tell me how many new subs they have? Mostly they have old Soviet era junk subs

And do you know what? USN has no bombers at all only USAF has strategic bombers and how do you know that Russian bombers are more modern than US bombers?

So why they're planning to build more yassen and borie if current fleet is sufficient to Russian needs? I would say lack of $$$ is hard to build and upgrade old subs

Why? In cold war they had double/triple fleet of warships and subs to cover pacific and Atlantic Oceans they have not enough $$ to do this again and maintain its fleet to the minimum

There's no cold war anymore. Only need a few ships is sufficient for Russia's needs.

Hahaha another face saving comment by you, Russia and USA are still enemies if you want to keep in check USN in pacific and Atlantic oceans you needs bigger fleet specially subs fleet needs 2 times more than current fleet of Russian navy 😉 😀 😜
