I want to say something which might feel quite wrong, but I will say it anyway.
Israel is not illegitimate child of anyone. It was created on the order of people who control everything. Right from our pensions to home loans to medical system. Everything. Even the server on which this website is hosted. I am not talking about Jews here btw. It's satanists that I wanted to point out here. If UK has raised its voice and took the toll, in my opinion its a great great service to humanity. UK did something that worths praise. UK might soon be wiped out from the face of earth ( as Russia has extended its areas of operations and they know it that UK is behind their misery), or at least England might cease to exist, but hey , they did their work. Now it's our turn.

a) there is a legal and structured framework ALREADY in place that would allow for the unification of Norther Ireland with Ireland as part of the Belfast Agreement. It is democratic and can take place at any when the conditions are there as specified in the treaty (i.e. majority view of the need to have the vote etc). This agreement is under international treaty.

b) Scotland has a vote for independence in Sept 2014 They decided to remain in the Union. Once there is sufficient and sustained consensus in Scotland, then another vote can take place, but it is something that can be requested to be done "every year" like some football game. But, the democratic framework is there.

c) So far to date, Wales has not made any real or significant ask for Independence from the UK. Yes, some "Nationalist Leaders" have said this, but so do people in Texas, right ? These "Nationalist Leaders" have to demonstrate there is sufficient grounds for a vote and the framework is there, and the will to hold those elections (eg Scotland is there).

How many other countries are so "free" with providing people with the right of self-determination to decide if they want to stay in the country, or leave ?

The Union is of consent and it has demonstrated the will to hold the freedom of self determination at is core as demonstrated to date.

My country affords you that freedom. In fact some British guy is heading a political party demanding independence of the Cape. We go a step further and allow foreigners to come here and demand "freedom" for our Provinces. As stupid as that may sound, it's true

Listen you guys are just as guilty. When the state of Israel was created floods of Jews from Middle East countries flooded in and the countries said "good riddance" and if the Palestinians got screwed it was "better them than us"...which basically was the same stance for European countries too.
