Two out of four in China have been launched while other two are in construction phase. Two out of four in Pakistan are in Construction phase while rest last two are to be constructed in Pakistan here were some news few years back that Pakistan is developing miniature nuclear reactor for submarines at Chashma Plant. It reports were true the remaining two will be nuclear powered submarines.
All these eight will have the capability to be tipped with Nuclear warhead with the help of Babur Cruise Missile which has already been tested but of course need more range and speed means Hypersonic that could be answer in the shape of P282.

The J-35 is being build with the anti-corrosion protection and other modifications for the PLAN carrier fleet. If the PAF is going for the J-35A for the PAF, procuring more J-35A (but modified for operating over the sea) would make the most sense.

Pakistan won't buy too many J35's so it will be used as a sharpshooter for the air force. It will be aimed at high value targets like AWACS, not naval aviation.

The Chinese Air Force has the J-20, so it uses the J-35 for naval aviation. In fact, all 11 brigades of J-16s are in the Air Force, while the Naval Aviation has only J-11B. the Naval Aviation usually doesn't get the best planes.
