All Karens I've seen are from countries under Western influence: Europe and Latin America.

Karen is American Slang, it's invented there, because it's where it exists. It doesnt exist the word in Chinese, because it doesnt exist the concept there neither.

I think it's the result of normalization of promiscuity, that it makes western middle age women to be full of traumas of all kind and treat uknown people in a demanding way.
