A man strolled into the supermarket, completely unaware that his zipper was wide open. As he wandered the aisles, a young cashier spotted the wardrobe malfunction and, trying to be discreet, called out with a cheeky grin:
“Sir… your barracks door is open.”
The man blinked in confusion, not quite catching her meaning, and carried on with his shopping. A few minutes later, another customer passed by and bluntly whispered,
“Hey buddy… your fly’s down.”
Red-faced, the man zipped up in a hurry. By the time he reached the checkout, he’d decided to turn his embarrassment into a joke. He deliberately chose the cashier’s line and leaned in with a mischievous smile.
“So,” he asked, “when you noticed my barracks door was open… did you happen to see a soldier standing at attention?”
Without missing a beat, the cashier smirked and shot back:
“No, sir. What I saw looked more like a retired veteran… lounging on a couple of old duffel bags.”
