Åermanent Representative of the Kingdom to the United Nations, Abdulaziz Al-Wasil:
The Kingdom condemns and strongly denounces the criminal attacks carried out by the Rapid Support Forces on the “Al-Kuweik Military Hospital,” on a relief convoy belonging to the World Food Programme, and on a bus carrying civilian displaced persons.
Federal Republic of Somalia:
Maritime cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia strengthens strategic partnership and advances ports development, transport, and capacity building, in a step that embodies Riyadh’s weight as a supportive partner for stability and development
-Details
:Somalia signed a maritime transport cooperation agreement with Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Saleh Al-Jasser, as part of the path to expand strategic cooperation and serve common interests.
The agreement aims to support economic growth, develop the ports and maritime transport sector, build capacities, and improve the efficiency of Somali personnel, thereby enhancing sustainable development and reaffirming Saudi Arabia’s pivotal role as a key partner in supporting Somalia’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
Will be very interesting to see the actions of the Chadian and Ethiopian regimes in relation to Sudan, Somalia, Eritrea and even Libya, albeit less urgent and much less influential - Chad here can mostly only play a role as an arms smuggler and facilitator to the LNA.
