Sudan Civil war 2023 - present

Mohamed Deedan:

60 airstrikes carried out by the Sudanese Air Force in just 24 hours, in exchange for downing a strategic drone that attempted to fly over Sudan's skies.

Glory to air sovereignty.

Looks like wars these days are just becoming meat grinders with no winners or losers whether its Ethiopia or Sudan or russia or iran or Myanmar it just keeps going on and on.

It will become a permanent part of life in the future when war will entirely be cheap and disposable remote controlled or autonomous machines belonging to different sides fighting each other. What a horrible world we are building for our children and grandchildren.

It's ironic that you say that when in reality the RSF front is collapsing. In the last couple of months alone, The sudanese army has had breakthrough in north kordofan and secured direct road from the capital to El obeid, which has saved Ol obeid from becoming the next El fasher.

Search Sudan at suriyakmaps profile and see the territorial progress.

Also, if they keep encroaching west like this, by the end of the year they will have robbed RSF of major gold mining areas.

My point was that your claim that it was meat grinder, which means lots of loss of life but static frontlines, is false. Especially now. This isn't Europe where meat grinders are way of life.
You can keep sleeping.

"We ask no one's permission we will root out the rebel militia

"Sudan's Sovereignty Council Chairman Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, addressing a stadium packed with tens of thousands, declared that the goal is "to eliminate the rebel militia and uproot it from the nation's soil." Stressing that the country will bow to no pressure or blackmail, al-Burhan said: "We want no visa from any state and no permission from anyone. We will keep our heads held high; we will not bargain, and we will not sell ourselves cheap to anyone." Saluting the young men fighting on the front lines of the "Battle of Dignity" as well as the young athletes on the playing fields, al-Burhan said they had made a promise to the Sudanese people and to the martyrs that "the nation's flag will never be lowered."

An in depth article about how the UAE is devastating Sudan and profiting from the civil war.

"Sudan's capital, Khartoum, is under one of the longest and most intense UAE backed RSF drone barrages in months, with no letup as night falls. The drones are taking off from Ethiopia. Most were shot down by the Sudanese army's air defenses, but civilians have been killed. Abiy Ahmed appears to be dragging the region into a war it may not be able to escape."

🇵🇰🇸🇩 Pakistan Opens Door to Partnership for Sudan's Reconstruction

Pakistan announces its readiness to contribute to rebuilding Sudan's industrial and agricultural infrastructure, and to transfer its expertise in technology, Islamic banking, energy, and health.

Pakistani companies are also seeking to resume importing Sudanese cotton and legumes in exchange for supplying agricultural equipment and tractors, with proposed cooperation in solar energy, pharmaceuticals, hospital rehabilitation, meat and poultry processing, and artificial intelligence.

Islamic banking, yes we can help. Energy ? I dont think so. There is not a single local company which independently invested in energy sector of Pakistan (solar, wind, coal etc) and can replicate the same in Sudan.

Same goes for health. If Sudan is interested in Basic health units then maybe. But Pakistan still need foreign JVs when it want to develop purpose built major hospitals.

Meat ,poultry we can help. Agricultural practices of ours are maybe 20% more efficient than current Sudanese practices but not at all on par with international standards these days. So dont know if our help will be meaningful.

And industry is almost non-existing in Pakistan except textile maybe. I dont know how we can help sudan in this.

All this is just a realistic picture of what capabilities Pakistan have right now and where can we actually help. By the look of it, I hardly see 2-3 avenues in which sudan can actually get some benefits from partnership with Pakistan.
