Why learn anything when my mind is already made up?


Seriously though, history is always fascinating, especially if one approaches it with an open mind. The basic themes that run though all eras shows just how similar we all really are in all parts of the world. But we'd rather focus on the minor differences to divide, rather than use the vast commonalities to unite.

Had to take down my Confederate flag when I lived in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.

My luck, got stuck with the only black meter reader in the county.

The old lady I rented from asked nicely so I put up a different flag and never heard another complaint......
