I find the American Republican obsession with trans people quite strange, especially a group that makes up such a tiny portion of your population, reminds me of how Ahmadis are treated here.

Becky been bitching for months a woman will never be manager at my truck stop.

Finally became one, over nights.

She told the truck stop manager I am her first choice to work with.

Trucker came in last night and told me the soda fountain is the cleanest in America.

Asked him to stand right there.

Went to find Becky and told her a customer had a complaint, she was horrified!

LOL, asked the trucker to repeat what he said to me to Becky

Rest of the shift she was on cloud 9.

She earned it.

Although Its not my place nor interest to interact in LGBTQ debates, I work with Gays, Lesbians, Trans people at my company, hangout with them and even visited a Gay Bar once, which was very awkward. But there was a genuine push from the LGBTQ community which people were getting tired off, from pride parades to having drag shows in schools with underage kids, even to a point where books explaining oral se>< between 2 gay men were getting read in schools to young kids, than you have cases of 4-5 years old coming out as Trans or different gender, you need to be 21 to buy alcohol in US, 21 to get a Tattoo and 18 to get a License but people were putting their kids as young as 4-5 on hormone treatments, now its not my child nor I am a US citizen so I don't comment on that, you do you and let me do mine and I have no issues with it, but American conservatives had some genuine concerns which also echoed by people who are Trans/gay but not extreme far left, sorry about the rant because this is not the topic and video I posted was just in light sarcasm.

It's very effective culture war issue and elections are now fought and won over culture wars, then when you get into office you reward your donors while keeping public distracted with new culture war issues. The avg person neither interacts frequently with LGBTQ nor cares about them too much. Most of the LGBTQ community keeps to itself and doesnt draw attention.
