Wagner troops to be deployed in Syria?

Russian Deputy Defense Minister Yunus-Bek Yavkurov arrived last night for a quick visit to Syria at the end of his visit to Africa.

Yavkurov is responsible in the Russian Ministry of Defense for the activities of the Wagner Group and Russian military influence in African countries and the Middle East.

Things are about to get real fun.

Looks like, the Opposition Groups took this chance with Russia busy in Ukraine, Iran caught up in Lebanon & Israel, and Hezbollah weakened. Seems like the Syrian army can't do much without them. Drones are definitely changing the game too! Your optimism is too quick . It won’t be easy for Syrian Army to claim lost territory.!

This is the reason for Russia intervention in Syria. Putin would be foolish to allow this to happen in front of his eyes. If this plan goes through it would cut Europe dependence on Russian oil and gas. Putin knows this. Assad will not fall without a heavy blow to the Turkish and western back rebels. This is the beginning not the end. Most likely Wagner will make a comeback to Syria.

It's evident that the rebels wanted aid from Israel in exchange for the establishment of Israeli embassy in Damascus. If Iran gives up on Assad might as well say goodbye to hezbollah.

I think the rebels offensive will end in hama. They won't go beyond that. Assad will probably be removed through coup the moment hama fall.
