We shall see who bites the dust.

Iranian nuisance starting 1979 will be ended . Trump will end it

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said today that more than 500 Alawite civilians have been killed since Thursday by Syrian security forces and their allied groups during operations and battles with loyalists of ousted President Bashar al-Assad in western Syria.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that “532 Alawite civilians were killed in the Syrian coastal and mountainous regions of Latakia by security forces and groups affiliated with them” since Thursday.

The announcement brings the death toll in the violence to 745, including 213 members of the security forces and fighters loyal to Assad’s faction, according to the same source.

Alawites were once a kind of Syrian "secret society", but what they are calling "Alawites" today are a bunch of different ethnicities, which constitutes ETHNIC CLEANSING just like in the Gaza Strip and west media is telling that innocent people are “Assad regime remnants”. Al Joolani is the new bin Laden, the new Saddam Hussein, and the West will say in the future that it was a "mistake" to support him ( themselves created him) and will try to justify an occupation of a fragmented Syria as a "war on Al Joolani". We've seen this movie before. Iran may have participated (yes) but it is impossible that NATO/USA who control the place did not see it... so themselves plotted this to generate new confusion and appear as saviors.

Syria was colonized by France before the existence of the Assad family! They were colonizers who destroyed the place and then(after) a type of socialism came to power through the "Assads". In 1973 when there was no Hamas, Hezbollah or Iran of the ayatollahs but Syria was invaded by Israel that annexed the Golan Heights, so using the argument that Syria's problem is the Assads or worse, Iran... it makes no sense historically speaking, just like those people who argue that the Palestine-Israel conflict began in 2023 and Assad’s army was 99% sunni !.

Al Joolani is listed by the UN as a terrorist and has no legitimacy whatsoever, which is why the CIA and MOSSAD put him there to sow confusion. Removing Assad and putting Al Joolani in would be like removing Putin from Russia and putting a Ukrainian terrorist from the Azov battalion in his place...it would already be a turmoil that would be sown and used by OTAN to control all Russia, that’s exacly strategy they are using in Syria.

Abdurrahman Dal’a, a Sunni cleric in Idlib, was brutally murdered in a savage way, following his public condemnation of the atrocities that took place in Latakia.

Let me guess. This Sunni cleric is also an "Assadist" right?

May this brave honorable man rest in peace, and may his savage murderers face eternal damnation.

Because it's not true. It's like saying Bashar Al Assad ruled Syria with only Alawite support, we all know majority of his army was sunnis, Bashar was secular Arab nationalist but the opposition played the shia card. They claimed Bashar was sufiani but now are quiet about it since he has made it out alive.

I wish it was this simple... where the best quality and qualification of his rule was being the son of Hafez. But in a region where this is the norm and perhaps still the case I wouldn't fault him for that...
BUT, it isn't that... the state apparatus was purposefully, Alawite... key posts were manned by them... some near and dear ones of Assad himself.
The state after first world War was prepared as such... under French tutelage. Nusayris were empowered. The name itself with negative connotations, nusayri was replaced with Alawite. The strongest military faction, officer Corps were Alawite hence the coup by Hafez. The security forces, that included Sunnis were used to crack down on any form of overt religiosity, questioned for going to Masjid, especially so if that was a some recent change of heart.
I know that Greeks, Zionists or even Iranians wouldn't bother how anyone was living in their own state and why this was not the first uprising, in 1982, Hafez raised Hama to the ground in a wonton onslaught... where the number of deaths are mere estimates. Which is why this uprising had organic roots. Millions were displaced, and we may never know the the actual deaths. Now this, the Syrian uprising, was aided from outside... Syria became a playground for foreign powers, who on their part cared even less about Syrians themselves but who was in charge... the geopolitical ramifications are such... that when Herbert Samuel discussed the establishment of the Zionist state. His very first observation and wish was,
"I mentioned that two things would be essential—that the state should be neutralized, since it could not be large enough to defend itself, and that the free access of Christian pilgrims should be guaranteed. ... I also said it would be a great advantage if the remainder of Syria were annexed by France, as it would be far better for the state to have a European power as neighbour than the Turk."

Wrote the memorandum, The Future of Palestine, and became its first high commissioner.

Thus, Syria, the project was and is fundamental to the cause of Palestine itself. There is a lot more to chew over on that memorandum but that is not the purpose of this post.

Assad, could never secure Syrian air space from at will zionist attacks... that specifically targeted Iranian interests. While Iranians were helpless to do anything about those, the Russians didn't care... in fact we're informed of the impunity. So, in other words Russians were NOT interested in Syrian sovereignty, but seeking simply to keep Assad in power at the expense of both the Syrian people and any aid to the regime that was a threat in any way to zion!
A subjugated Syria, crippled and paraplegic for the sole purpose to advance zionist interests. So, you'd ask why didn't they invade back then and take more Syrian territory. Well, why didn't they?
Simply, the assuredness or the guarantee is gone!
Golan is strategic, and a path to central Israel. A cutout that provides limited space... full access of zion to three different states, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon but unless the resistance takes control of the whole is subject to international borders and politics within those... besides zion cannot fight a long asymmetric protracted war... it isn't Russia or The US. A unified, united Syria now is a threat that it was not... and I don't say that because of the current regime in charge... it is a position by default. The choices are limited...

I'll leave at that ...

Amazing post. Shame how so called educated people cannot see pass their noses, it proves acting all professional and educated doesn't mean your not a fool. Bashar Al Assad till his last days was a Arab nationalist, he was secular person, he didn't represent shias or alevis in Syria, the grand mufti and all big Masjids were under sunni control, he never destroyed the sunni Islamic history, the people who targeted and tried to destroy history are in power now.

It’s not that simple friend. Something you did not touch upon:
During the French Colonial Mandate, French authorities allied with minority groups, including the Alawites, as a way to counterbalance the Sunni Muslim majority.
The Sunni population, particularly urban elites, were seen as more likely to resist French rule. French recruited heavily from the Alawite community for the military (Troupes Spéciales du Levant), arming them and granting them roles in security forces and creating a precedent for their political influence. How Assad family and Alawites became so dominated oppressing Syria and its majority citizens Sunnis for decades.
