The same plan was done in Algeria, Libya, Yemen and elsewhere. Today the backers of Syrian rebels openly claim we funded and trained them, they meet with them, hug them and people online and PDF claiming Syria is liberated. We indeed live in the time where great liers exist.

There is no issue between Tasawuff and Ahl al Sunnah. Tasawuff is part of the Deen, not a Deen or Manhaj separate from Sunni Islam.

Me personally I don't even like using the term "Sufiism" and prefer the original Islamic term "Tasawuff".

With regards to the Validity of Tasawuff, it goes back the Hadith of Jibrael a.s.

2. Iman (faith – inward belief)

In the Hadith of Jibril, the third question posed by the angel Jibril (عليه السلام) to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was:

"فأخبرني عن الإحسان"
"Tell me about Ihsan."

The Prophet ﷺ replied:

"أن تعبد الله كأنك تراه، فإن لم تكن تراه فإنه يراك."
"It is to worship Allah as though you see Him, and if you do not see Him, [know that] He sees you."

People like Imam Al Ghazali, Abdal Qader al Jilani, and Khwaja Abdullah Ansari were not deviants or "Innovators".

Note not everyone who self proclaims as "Ahl Al tasawuff" is regarded as such. In the Words of Imam Al Ghazali in his book Ihya Ulum Al Din, there is no tasawuff outside of the Quran and Sunnah.
