Another innocent civilian dead and Syrian officials turning a blind eye to it again

There have already been 92 Israeli attacks on Syria in 2026.

Israeli forces bombed the Tel al Ahmar al Sharqi region, south of Quneitra, with two projectiles on Tuesday (6). No deaths were reported in the attack.

According to Al Mayadeen, the episode raised to 92 the number of Israeli military operations recorded in Syrian territory since the beginning of 2026, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Of this total, six were air strikes and 86 ground incursions.

Quneitra and Daraa concentrate the majority of the operations. The attacks hit former weapons and ammunition depots, military installations and vehicles, leaving six dead and several wounded. Quneitra recorded 47 incursions, while Daraa counted another 26.

Several thousands have been arrested, I'm not sure what the figure is, but unfortunately, hundreds of thousands were let off the hook and walk free amongst us. Most have been granted general amnesty early on, only the highest level officials and the ones that committed the biggest of crimes were excluded and are being tracked down.

It makes my blood boil, many low ranking criminals are getting away with the atrocities that we know they committed and have been documented, yet today majority of them are going about their day just a few Kilometers aways from the people and families they brutalized like nothing happened. I get the logic behind it, but man its infuriating.
