I don’t disagree that the guy is too much but don’t you agree that israel is attempting to carve out more territory in Syria without even Syrian forces attempting to even respond today Al Jazeera reported the Israelis were indiscriminately firing upon Syrians and their property and Syrian forces have not even attempted to respond to these provocations we can’t keep saying Syrian government is being smart and not falling for Israel’s provocations because Israel doesn’t care they will keep encroaching on Syrian lands and take what they want just like Palestine

Assad was corrupt, did not reform and followed Russian interests (Putin is close to Russian Zionists and Russia has interest in keeping Israel intact).

Assad did not care about resistance, his goal was to safe his own regime, power and interests. Now that does not mean that we should see the former head of Al-Qaeda as a liberator.

For Iran Assad was the least bad option compared to US leaning Neo-Al-Qaeda.
What Syrians need is someone who can treat all religions and ethnicities fairly, otherwise you will be exploited by foreign forces and shed the last drop of blood in the civil war.

Today Turkey supports one sect, and tomorrow Israel will support another. Today the Alawites are massacred, and tomorrow it might be your turn to be executed. This will not end on its own.

But even now, you still hate each other and fail to realize that unity is the only way for each other to survive.

From this perspective, Assad may not be the best choice, but he is certainly not the worst choice.

The Alewites will never make a comeback into this land. Some fled, others killed in the war and some taken captives. Their supporter base is destroyed beyond repair. They are a thing of the past.

The only remaining group were the kurds and they share brotherly ties with the current ruling entity.

The Syrian civil war is a closed file.. What is next is perhaps other future wars but they won´t be a civil war. But Syria will see a prolonged peace for the next 15-20 years

  • ACLED Brief: "Syria: Israeli airstrikes reach an all-time high after Assad regime falls" (December 2024).
  • Al Jazeera News: "Israel attacked Syria more than 600 times over the past year" (December 2025).
  • Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Report: "Syria: 1,194 Incursions by Israeli Forces Since December 8, 2024" (October 2026).
  • From an objective statistical standpoint, the intensity of Israeli military action in Syria transitioned from an average of less than 2 attacks per week under Assad to nearly 12 attacks per week under al-Sharaa—a 560% increase in annualized operational frequency.
  • 6% of total water resources of Syria was lost to Israel during Ahmed al Sharaa, compared to 1.8% during both Assads (father and son)
  • Zero Israeli military bases on the Syrian side of the Alpha Line during Assad, 9+ permanent Israeli military bases constructed deep inside Syrian territory during Ahmed al-Sharaa
  • Arable Land Lost to Israel: ~150 to 200 square kilometers (15,000 to 20,000 hectares) during Ahmed Al-Sharaa.
  • Mass destruction of jets, naval vessels, and heavy armored divisions.
Operation Timber Sycamore (2012–2017) was a covert CIA-led program that relied on Turkey as its primary logistical and operational hub to arm and train Syrian rebel forces. While funded heavily by Gulf states, the operation depended on Turkish territory, border access, and military infrastructure to sustain the northern front against the Assad regime.
The core elements of Turkey's involvement included:
  • Command Infrastructure: Turkey hosted the Müşterek Operasyon Merkezi (MOM), a joint operations center in southern Turkey where intelligence officials from the U.S., Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Western allies co-managed the vetting, financing, and strategy of rebel groups.
  • Logistical Gateway: Turkey acted as the physical conduit for thousands of tons of Eastern European weaponry and U.S.-made TOW anti-tank missiles, allowing them to flow across its border into northern Syria.
  • Training Grounds: The Turkish government provided secure territory and facilities for CIA personnel and allies to train select fighters in combat tactics.
  • The Aftermath: Following strategic disagreements over U.S. support for Kurdish forces and the eventual termination of the program in 2017, Turkey absorbed these CIA-vetted fighters into its own payroll, reorganizing them into the Syrian National Army (SNA) for its own localized military campaigns.

Agree by the time the Syrians respond if they ever do respond Israel will have taken over another chunk of land the size of golan heights seriously not making a joke I get it Syrian government if today is weak and cant confront Israel today but maybe roll out the red carpet for Arab and Muslim states to come defend their territories with just a show of strength not even with what they are doing in Yemen again not making a joke because it’s starting to look like it a little because man I know I’m about to get some hate but seriously half a dozen Arab and Muslim countries may or may not come to Saudi Arabia defense but no one to Syria or Palestinians and Saudi Arabia isn’t asking anyone to come defending they’re just coming on their own
