Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

Wait a couple of minutes, it's easy to get the minute on the top position, to stay there is different story...this is fast and furious success, how strong fundament is of such improvements, we will see...it could easily be even faster and more furious disaster in the end...
Yeah, you are right. But if things continues as it is, we know how the game will end. Everyone here knows. See all shias in the forum. They don't say anything on Assads victory or their involvement to save Assad. They too know how this is going to end.

Baba ji .....rebels are not like madrassa raised talibans ..apples and oranges ...have some perspective sir ji .

You mean like ISIS ?! Not many Madrassa in Iraq but you still ended up with the same type of terrorists. They are like cockroaches- bread where ever there is chaos, death and destruction. Always they will grow in those same conditions now being created in Syria……

I think something really important has not mentioned about the construction of drones and drone pilot training WITHIN syria is that that isn’t a simple task. these men know how to build electronics(and fly them), that isn’t exactly something you wake up and know how to do well. to me that indicates they are attempting to train individuals for specialised roles, and I would bet money that extends outside of just drones. I wonder if HTS has done what most other Mujahideen groups don’t do all that well and actually attempted to train up their soldiers to a competent level. Simply the fact they have seemingly partially standard equipment and uniforms to me indicates they have made a shift towards attempting to be a professional force of sorts. At the very least having members who are able to do technical tasks!!!

It shouldn’t be a question of dying for Assad. It should be dying for your country? Right now ISIS groups will occupy Syria and turn it into another Afghanistan. Surely it is worth fighting to stop that? Why the Syrian Army doesn’t recognise that is part of the problem.

Like look at Libya, what has become of that country since it was also “liberated” from Gadaffi. Slave trade and constant war is what has happened. Libya is fragmented into different warring parties and can never be put together again. That is the future of Syria with what Turkey has unleashed.

All these 3-letter alphabet of Terrorists will start fighting each other once they conquer all that they can. There will be no peace with what has been unleashed. All these Turkish cheerleaders here will have a bigger problem to deal with than they do now. Look how Pakistan “nurtured” the Taliban for only the Taliban to turn on Pakistan. Afghanistan still remains a shit hole, and it is getting worse there too with all education of women now banned. These terrorist groups cannot be controlled ever…..

Sadly , Assad replacement will be probably be even worse , it’s worse according to Assad’s supporters . I guess there’s always hope. Both sides are bad guys so we shouldn’t we place too much hope 😔 But then again compared to Taliban and other groups I think Joulani and his HTS are evolving. They fought against ISIS and its unparalleled savagery, severed ties with Al Qaeda and rebranded, plus they were never pro global jihad to begin with but it was rather local jihad (from what I read but I could be wrong).I think Joulani understands very well that continuing jihad has no future in Syria or elsewhere.

I’d be most interested to know if there are any indications that the rebels are also trying to go west of Homs (towards the Talkalakh area) thus cutting off Damascus from Latakia?

Splitting the regime into two may have a significant psychological impact.

Russia confirmed they can’t help Assad in Damascus due to “other priorities” so this changes everything.

Dude, you have to be trolling lmao, there is literally combat footage of Saudi soldiers in Yemen,

That is some border region skirmishes but the Saudis were never inside Yemen and that is a fact. The Houthis were on the verge of losing to their local rivals and if the war were even to be restarted they will be defeated. An army wing called the giants is the most powerful element in Yemen and these are a southern element between Aden and Abyan

Shia are part of Syria. Just like Christians and Alawites.
Yes that is true. That guy is just trolling you didn´´t even need to reply to him.

You are only here to seed divide..

That's why the mistake of the government for 10 years was that they didn't stop promoting the leader, instead of the country. The Syrian government had really bad PR. They should have shifted focus from the "leader" as a symbol of unity,to the motherland. They should have focused more on the country,on the motherland,of which Assad was just the president. That's how the narration should have been.

At the same time they should have approached the Kurds to coordinate and form an alliance and maybe a federal State.

And the other problem is that you can't rely on the current Russia to protect you. Not right now at least. They have proved to be more unreliable as protectors than USA or any other country. As for China, they did absolutely nothing to save Syria. Supposedly a superpower with a huge army and vast resources that was friendly to the Syrian government.
