Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

* and the oil n gas fields or pipelines access.

Israel really played the game brilliantly, marching into Syria using Turkey as its donkey.

Syria_MilitarySituation_Image1x1_Apr18_EnergyConsutlingGroup_web.png

Their long plan and actions:

- Install Erdogan and push Turkey towards extreme foreign debts so the country becomes a client state. Turkey crossed 50% threshold of Anglo-Jew direct debt on its entire GDP so the country is effectively in the hands of those who feed it.

- Take hits from Iran but create a status quo in which both sides refused to escalate further, Iran proved a military point and left.

- Choke Weaken Assad through in-direct insurgencies from Turkey.

- With Assad gone they can now rule over South Syria as part of greater Israel, take its oils, riches anything. May even settle Jews their, who will stop them? Iran is gone from there.

- With the land route cut to Hezbollah now they can repeat this model in Lebanon, choke Hezbollah and may even annex land further of Sheba farms.

- No single opposition to Krish oil fields in Mediterranean as Hezbollah was armed by Iran with AShCM for this purpose. They cant fight anymore.
Turkey is already a client state and is highly indebted to Western creditors. As you know, Turkey has had all kinds of financial problems. So while they are strengthening their geopolitical footprint, their economy has actually gotten weaker and more dependent.

Israel will take swathes of Southern Syria. That much is for sure. Much of Syria will be under an Israeli sphere of influence, even if it has nominal independence. I think this reality is settling in for Al Julani and that's why he's made some overtures to make amends with Russia and even Iran, because he knows if he doesn't, there won't be any balance and he will be nothing more than a puppet slave of the Zionists.

Lastly, Israel got rid of Iran's long arm extending to its northern borders. That was its foremost concern. Israel cannot take on Iran directly. We have seen this from the conflict in the past year. Iran was slamming Israel with ballistic missiles and Israel was helpless. When Israel tried to hit Iran back, it was impotent. With Iran at its northern borders, it could amass huge numbers of troops and military hardware and Israel would have difficulty fighting it in a full blown war.

So with this move, Israel scores a huge strategic victory. Iran has been pushed back to Iraq and is at arms length from Israel. Hezbollah is isolated and will be destroyed. Gaza is basically hopeless rubble now.

HTS of course celebrating their big win
It's interesting , country being destroyed and yet folks local not having clue what is happening

I am really curious on Turkey's big gain from helping rebels but clearly it seem Israel has captured more land
I think even Turkey has to be somewhat alarmed by Israel's seizure of territory. It gives them a bad look. It may not have been part of the plan, who knows. Netanyahu is a fox.

@Meengla

That is 70 kms from the Golan!

If that happens then the entity gains thousands of square kms of fertile land and either loyal or indifferent new population.

This could be the first strike to expand the Zionist entity since 1967.

Colossal failure by the rebels and Turkey to let this happen. Turkey was all in on removing Bashar from power yet has not done anything to protect the territorial integrity of Syria. All talk and no action.

I think at this point, it is not for sure if they will venture that deep. But I remember reading somewhere that the IDF has stated that "if the residents of As Suwayda need protection, they are ready to help". Which basically is hinting that this is a possibility. If they do that, they will basically capture a huge swathe of the Syrian-Jordan border and Israel will venture deeper into the Levantine hinterland than its ever been.

The world would be a better place without religion. That's my opinion. I hate extremism of any type. Those that have crazy ideologies should all be locked up in Guantanamo.anyway BRICS is an economic forum not a military alliance . I don't know why I have to explain this to people in this forum lol If china were to make an alliance only Russia and North Korea fit the bill cause that's where china will fight at. East Asia not somewhere in the desert. Sorry I have to type it in response to you cause Im on speed limit lol

Without religion, you have no faith, values and morals it's why the world is falling into a den of debauchery, it's why the relationship system has been damaged beyond redemption and why the world faces demographic crises

Values preserve culture

You are assuming the "rebels" and Turkey are not puppets of the Zio-US.

Syria is finished and will be carved up between Zionist entity, Kurds, Turks/HTS and the US will also keep its patch stealing Syria's oil with the Kurds.

Zionist entity has destroyed nearly all Syrian military capabilities and is now grabbing Syrian land without even having to fight. Next target will be to totally isolate, weaken Hezbollah and grab Lebanon up to Litani River.

Ergodan and Turks are Zio-US puppets and the sooner people realise this the better.

Some brighter perspectives and nice thread about Syria potential now when they got rid of family dynasty who run state for them self.

Having ex-AQ running the country,Israel annexing the south,Turkey trying to annex the north, the entire air defence, air force, research centers and navy of the nation destroyed, the Central Bank and public buildings looted, gangs running around taking revenge on whoever they want, all the prisons have emptied, but sure...bright future and great perspectives now that evil Assad family is gone.

Israel can't control anything, even the Golan was occupied by agreement, it wasn't occupied because the Israeli held it through strength

Much like southern Lebanon, even a militia like Hezbollah was able to drive them out

Why?? Because Israel doesn't have the numbers, it doesn't have any legal right and it's far from the Israeli center

The crux is for Syria not to fall for any trick or accepting the status quo and make a new agreement over the Golan in exchange for a Israeli retreat over any buffer area

Both Israel and the U.S are desperate to get that done, don't do it, Israel is not capable or legally able to control that land without agreement

What a total and utter s*it show is going on in Syria.

To think anyone who has the best interests of Syria at heart would have welcomed the overthrow of Assad is mindboggling. They probably cannot think 1 step head but are genuinely good people but lack simple analytical ability.

Of course we have plenty of fake "well wishers" of Syria who gathered like vultures to feast on the Syrian carcass.

Israel couldn't hold Southern Lebanon because there was an organized resistance that was fiercely fighting them.

Syria's defenses have collapsed. Israel is walking in and taking sparsely populated areas. If anything, they will at least hold on to Mt Hermon and a buffer zone. But that zone will likely be equivalent to the size of Gaza.

That post mentioned "legal right"!

Well they have been told they are in illegal occupation of Golan, West Bank and Gaza clearly by ICJ/UN and are just doubling down on all those areas now.

More what we would like to happen than the reality.

Some people still have not digested how Assad's overthrow changes the whole calculus in ME.

We saw that in Libya too...you remember it,bhai

As a long time supporter of the Palestinians, Syria's collapse made me depressed and angry for days. I've pretty much resigned to accepting it.

Israel will rule its immediate neighborhood unhindered. Palestine is going to be a memory in the coming decades.
