Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

this used to be the Sunni Arab conspiracy theory, but it has become less popular after those regimes exposed themselves as Zionist allies and Iran proved it was the only state level enemy to Israel over the past few years. so the turks are jumping on the band wagon a bit late.

Iran supported the US invasion of Iraq to topple Saddam. Iran supported the Invasion of Afghanistan. All while claiming to counter the US and Israel. The sheer fact that all these years the "Axis of Resistance" has failed to get the US to withdraw from Iraq is proof enough of this nonsense "Resistance".

turk bot malfunction ? stop lying. in reality:

Yeah he switched it up after being quoted and Burned over his initial tweet.

Hadi Tweets 10 different things depending on how the response goes, he changes narratives. He was pretending to want to "work together" with the new govt only a few weeks back, before he backed this Israeli/"Druze" insurgency.

lol, Turkey supported Syrian territorial integrity more than Assad. He sold out Northern Syria to the PKK and made a deal with them, all b/c of Turkey. This coward tried asking for Russians to back for a breakaway Alawite state, when it was clear he was not going to be able to take back Syria. but Russia refused after which he asked for them to fly him out of the country.

This Joker "Syrian Nationalist" turned Separatist the moment it became clear that his family and his sect was not going to be able to rule Syria.
Let me remind you that Syria would been united right now,if your Sultan didn't help start and escalate the rebellion into full civil war from the start.

The Country is united today tho.. It went the full circle for the last 14 years and it was necessary

Aren't you seeing the posts the last few months? Alawites and Christians living in fear and doubt? Druze divided between pro-Israeli and pro-Syrian? Kurds afraid of laying down their arms?

These elements are irrelevant.. Especially the Druze they are less then 400k in Syria. Alwites are of the past, the war has taken their numbers and lost the capability to even reproduce. The Alwites are the most decimated group in the Syrian civil war it is rare nowadays to even find a young Alwite male, majority of the remaining are old men.

The tiny christian minority are just bystanders they will behave like minority. The Kurds are the only group that is significiant somewhat and they have joined the Gov´t

Syria would be united If Bashar ran off to Moscow 15 years ago, instead of running off like a coward after everything else was destroyed. He didn't even have the decency to die fighting. A coward to the bitter end, you know he ordered his general and army to retreat from all fronts and come to damascus where they were supposed to fight and protect him, and then at the very end they refused, so instead of him fighting on his own or leading those who still wanted to fight, he fled to the coast, there he asked Russia to support a breakaway state, Russia seeing the writing on the wall said no, then he asked them to take him to Moscow, and he stuffed his suitcases with all his ill gotten wealth and ran, along with all the money he had stashed in Moscow bank accounts and property elsewhere.

No one is living in fear, certainly not Christians, they were celebrating Easter in Homs in pretty significant fashion only a few weeks ago, and for the most part when you look at the statements from Organizations in Syria, they have been saying things are largely fine. Maybe you can make a case for the Alawites, but even there after the incident on the coast, things have calmed down.

On this day in 2013, the Syrian regime committed one of the most horrific massacres: the massacre of the village of Al-Bayda in the Baniyas countryside.

We know No One will remember these people and no one cares that this happened, their blood is worth less to the same people who all of a sudden care about the wellbeing of people in Syria.

Anyways here are excerpts from Wikipedia on the events.

Syrian troops backed by the pro-government gunmen swept into the village in the mountains near the Mediterranean coast killing dozens of people, including women and children, and torching homes. Before the militia entered the village, the military bombarded Bayda from the sea with rockets.

The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated they were able to document the deaths of 51 people. Another activist report documented 72 deaths. Opposition activists said that, although Bayda was rebel-held, only 14 rebel fighters were in the village. One opposition activist stated that the attack was in fact retaliation for another attack in a neighbouring area four days previously that had resulted in the death of several soldiers.

Victims included Bayda's former village imam of 30 years, Sheikh Biyasi, described as "a government loyalist who alienated local people with his political views before resigning two years ago." According to one survivor, "even though he always opposed the protests, they still killed him." The Biyasi family was described by Reuters as suffering "some of the worst losses, with 36 documented deaths".

On 3 May, another massacre was, according to SOHR, perpetrated in the Ras al-Nabaa district of Baniyas causing hundreds of Sunni residents to flee their homes. According to one opposition report, a total of 77 civilians, including 14 children, were killed. Another two opposition groups documented, by name, 96-145 people who are thought to have been executed in the district. Four pro-government militiamen and two soldiers were also killed in the area in clashes with rebel fighters.

Syrian state media stated their forces were seeking only to clear the area of "terrorists". Mihrac Ural, a pro-government militia commander spoke of the necessity to besiege and "cleanse" Baniyas from what he called "traitors".In all, the military claimed that they killed 40 "terrorists" in Bayda and Baniyas.

Or, hear me out, it was the failure of a brutal dictator hated by his own people who killed and butchered thousands of his own people. What about that? You agree?

Using your logic, one can argue that the brutal and bloody division in Cyprus would not have occurred had the island remained entirely under Turkish control. 🙃

Assad and Assad Jr. with their best friends.

Never forget they sided with the US against Iraq same as Iran did.

wait was saddam a good guy and also didn’t pretty much every Arab and Muslim country in the world side with Kuwait……do you have a problem with Kuwait being invaded by a family a rapists and murderers

If I was obcessed with Iran, i would be nonstop posting/mirroring what you post about Syria and Turkey BS about Mahsa Amini and insurgency support inside Iran, or whatever things the Regime has done with regards to executions or whatever, instead I have never posted a single thing about that matter, if anything I have been opposed to regime change in Iran, and I dare you to show the opposite. Its you who is obsessed with Syria and Turkey and jumping at any opportunity to fan flames then projecting your own outlook onto others.
Not going to lie I think both moderators are getting a little hot over Syria to be fair @The SC has been pretty good at keeping out of it he’s posting what’s going on and attempting to keep neutrality for the most part

Would this be the first time they directly are targeting the new government forces directly compared to previously where it would've been under the guise of Assad era military bases/weapons

Christians that have talked to the media here and talk online generally, are reporting fears, uncertainty and even threats by the radical Sunni "liberators".
