Undoutably, he would have made a deal with the devil to stay in power, b/c Ultimately thats the only thing that mattered to him. "Assad or we burn Syria", they lived up to it, to the last moment. A "Syrian Nationalist", "Arab Nationalist" turned into an Alawite Separatist at the last moment fleeing to the coast and asking Russia to support a breakaway state, no doubt he would ask for Israeli help too, out of desperation. lol

The Syrian currency is doing far better than 1 year ago, with sanctions lifting Syrian growth will be far higher than it was 1 year ago. Syrians are happier now than they were 1 year ago, and majority are happy with the new govt, so who are you again?

This talk is of President Sharaa five years ago and by scrutinizing the speech, it becomes clear to us that the man and his brothers have a plan and strategy to liberate and after liberation is clear and they are working to implement it step by step without jumping over the stages, so I am very optimistic about the future of Syria under his leadership
