The desperate elements have now started to cherry pick qoutes and take them out of context..
I mean just look at the ground reality the Syrian regime has now 300.000 forces plus 200.000 police forces including Turkish army behind them who in their right mind can chellenge this? Lets assume if SDF were dumb enough to refuse the agreement it would end in mere weeks if offensive was launched on SDF is very weak element. there is not even a realistic ground reality for it. It is like saying Eastern Azerbaijan breaks away or something very unrealistic like saying Balochistan goes away from Pakistan lmao!
The EU and US and everyone knows the Syrian end game is over and now political agreements and investments are being signed with Damascus even the Israelis know this fact as few days ago Katz thanked Azerbaijan in improving their ties with Syria gov´t and Turkey.

Assad literally negotiated with the Israelis is Switzerland in 2007 to return the body.
Last month it was revealed that negotiators representing Israel and Syria during protracted "back channel" talks in Switzerland - none held an official position and so all their discussions were deniable - had discussed the possibility of Israel handing back the occupied Golan Heights in exchange for Damascus withdrawing support for Hezbollah and Hamas. The talks collapsed after the US put pressure on Israel to stop dealing with Syria, but not before members of Cohen's family had been consulted about the possibility of his bones being repatriated.

Turkey would not allow for the govt of Syria to collapse.
The 3 elements of separatist destabilizers in Syria are, The Assadist Alawite insurgency, The PKK in Northern Syria and the Israeli backed Druze.
Of these 3 in terms of military capacity, the PKK is clearly the biggest threat and the one that holds the most land outside of the Govt.
If there was a refusal for the PKK to integrate into the Govt, the Govt doesn't have to worry about about launching an operation against the PKK. Turkey will be the first to enter the fight from the North.
With regards to the Alawite insurgency it looks largely dead there are small things, but nothing of significant capacity, despite the best efforts of Hezbollah/Iran and their Israeli friends.
The Last issues is the the trickiest issue. with the Druze faction in Suweida that refuses to integrate, and the reason for this is not their owns strength, but the fact that they are backed by Israel. Luckily for the Govt, they are largely isolated in Jabal Al Arab/Suweida, and have no significant capacity to expand into Sunni Arab areas in the south w/o Israeli help atleast. And there are about a million+ Sunni Arab live South of Damascus, so this is not an area that Israelis can take without some resistance, nor can the Druze expand into it. And its not an isolated place like Gaza, its connected to the rest of Syria and can be reinforced.
Put simply in terms of consolidation the biggest element that needs addressing is the PKK and Turkey is working with Syria on this matter, and willing to provide whatever necessary help that is needed to consolidate Syria.
Both Turkey's Military and Intelligence officials have met with counterparts and with Leadership in Syria. Turkey had played a significant role in helping the new govt stabalize, whether on the diplomatic front or the military front.

Their vision is; sharaa beard-boy, sit down, never dare to attack (our ally) Israel and accept Golan heighs (given by trump), strategic water sources and possibly strategic heights near damascus as part of greater/Eretz Israël. Maybe a bit of it could be given back if beard-boy joins baba abraham accords.

Golan heights was handed out by the Assad regime just so you know besides Syria will get back the buffer zone and UN forces will be stationed there again to continue the status-quo during the Assad regime.. Yes Sharaa will must likely join Abraham Accords.
There is only two blocs.. The first bloc attacked them with Russia and what not and they have been in war with them hence the other option is open. Oranges and apples. Syria had to ally themselves with one bloc and they chose the one that didn´t attack it or view them as enemies which is logical otherwise it would be no brainer.
Syria was in Ukraine´s position before Ukraine and you get whatever friends you can that is how geo-politics work don´t hate the player hate the game. They played their cards very well after post-Assad and nobody thought that was possible especially these who wanted this gov´t to fail they are in awe and stunned how Syria is now opened to the world and getting investors from everywhere
