The constant threats to Netanyahu,the constant reminder in speeches that Turkiye will protect their interests,at the same time planning investments worth billions,in Syria? The repeated warnings that Syria's integrity must be protected and will be protected etc?

And yet the "second largest army in NATO",won't lift a finger against Israel? When it comes to fighting the LNA,Turkey's all in. When it comes to the Kurdish militias in Syria and Iraq,it's all about Turkey's interests. But when it comes to Israel,suddenly all that bravado disappears.

That's the irony,that's what I'm pointing out.

Where did Turkey say it would attack Israel? Turkey is pointing out its support for the Syrian govt. Whats the bravado exactly? Turkey is helping in other ways, infact out of all the countries, Turkey has been the most supportive of the new Syrian govt.

I know you want Turkey to get into a kinetic exchange with Israel, so that it can exhaust itself, and that the US and EU can Turn on Turkey and then it will take pressure off Greece, but its not going to happen. lol

Its not a puppet state, that is your own mischaracterization. Syria has a balanced relationship with Saudi and Turkey, and Turkey has not imposed itself onto Syria. It has a respectful relationship and aids when asked in ways that it can.

Now you are just throwing around cheap insults, the only ones in Little League are those that Backed Haftar and having their own man burn them and choosing Turkey over them. Bedouins and Druze both serve in the Israeli military and are popular communities in Israel, esp the Druze. So its a bit mystifying to me why Israel is now supporting Druze against Bedouins in Syria. Partially the answer is of course Israeli divide and conquer tactics and their love for buffer zones, but there must be more to it.

Which deals and investments are under threat? There have been no significant deals with Syria. Only providing Syria with electricity. The main issue with Syria is the PKK. Thats Turkey's main priority. And Turkey is helping Syria via other means, it was Turkish lobbying along with the Saudis that got the sanctions removed, this is a long term play, there aren't going to be rash decisions made, certainly not with the goading of people online.

Summary of Swayda conclusion:
-Government forces pulled out of all Swayda province entirely. Earlier agreement of withdrawing only the military from city proper but retaining a security police force is now null and void. This comes as a surprise due to the government being able to secure the entire city yesterday, but bigger forces came into play as a result; Israel threatened to greatly escalate and attack the Damascus government directly if they did not pull out of Swayda, as they did with MOD building in the capital yesterday.

-Hijri has won this battle, despite losing the military exchange. The expelled Hijri forces are now rapidly re-entering Swayda and taking control of the city.

-Massacres are being reported of Beduin tribes in the Swayda province. Reports have emerged of mass execution of families, beheading, including of women and children, along with mutilations, torture and rape. Mass exodus to surround region of Bedouin families is currently unfolding. Videos and pictures are emerging today of the ethnic cleansing of Beduins by Hijri's Druze sectarian militia as a result of government forces withdrawal from the area. Im not sure if I can post or share some of gory media on here?

-The government forces have closed all roads leading into and out of Swayda province and are currently enforcing a blockade. No trade or people are being let in or out for now.

-Israeli military columns have been spotted entering the Syrian side from the Golan Heights, being cheered on by local Druze. No reports on where its going or what its for.

Analysis:
-Al-Sharaa and the Syrian state was humiliated. They lost 500-700 men, won control initially, only to pull back unconditionally and now they have left the local Bedouin population defenceless and is currently being slaughtered.

-This set a dangerous precedent for future events. The Kurdish separatists and the SDF will be emboldened to strike a deal with Israel for protection, and this will likely prevent any unification of Syrian territory any time soon. Sharaa needs to find a solution to the Israeli threats or Syria will not be able to function as a state in the foreseeable future.
