aftermath of Israel's illegal bombing of Syrian Ministry of Defence in Damascus

Then some people get mad when I ask "Where's Turkey to protect them?"

I was asking the same when Russian's didn't do a thing to protect Damascus from Israeli bombings for years.

Hisar,Siper,S-400,Koral,Voral....nothing.

You are being hypocritical. Your own government is incapable of providing enough resources for modernizing the Greek Military, even though they get billions from Brussels in subsidies and at the same time show a record budget surplus. These are your words. But you expect a war-torn country whose economy is practically nonexistent to be able to afford all these super expensive new Turkish military systems?

He doesn't even care about Syria, he is out here to try to score points against Turkey.

Guess where them and everyone else is coming as the next phase of this destabilization and fragmentation kicks in?
There are multiple reasons that restrict Israel's scope for action in Syria, despite their ability to project and create an image of them doing whatever they want there. This is clearly propaganda narrative. No country, including the US, can operate totally free and careless in the Middle East.

1. Even though Syria lacks an air force and air defense systems like Iran or Lebanon, advancing further north and engaging the Syrian Army would result in the deaths of thousands of Israeli soldiers. A literal quagmire. A conflict in Syria would be far more challenging than the situation in Gaza, which is why Israeli forces remain in their current position, safely located in a mountainous area.

2. If Syria is destabilized to the point of creating waves of refugees, it will provoke strong reactions from Europe, as the Turks would send them to the EU. Neither the European left nor right will tolerate any Israeli actions that lead to more refugees. This is a crucial issue for them, despite their support for the Israeli government, and Tel Aviv is fully aware of this sentiment in European capitals.

3. The Americans are keen to strengthen their relationship with Turkey. There is a new understanding of Turkey's significance in US foreign policy.

Most decision-makers in Washington recognize that Ankara is vital not just for its geopolitical location but also for its military capabilities, production facilities, technological advancements, influence in Central Asia regarding China, monitoring Russia & Iran, ties with Pakistan, cooperation with Southeast Asian Muslims, foothold in the Balkans and Caucasus, and military presence in Northern Africa, strong relations with South Korea, among other factors. While they may permit Israel to strike Syria if necessary, there will be a natural limit concerning Israeli support for the SDF/PKK.

The US is not just going to step in; the Turks might also return the favor by providing similar help to the Syrian Army, Hizbies in Lebanon, or Huthies in Yemen.

Even though the Israeli military is considered "strong" (due to external support), they have a vast area to defend, numerous adversaries, and are currently worn out from dealing with Iran. Starting a conflict with Ankara is not in the cards.

Aren't you supporting the separatists? lol

Whats wrong with the Statement? Turkey has always supported Syria's territorial integrity.
If turkey is a true friend of Syria why doesn’t it send its own peacekeepers into Syria to Syria border protect all sides and keep Israel from bombing Syrian forces I really don’t see it that complicated for turkey to send several thousand troops into Syria see if they can escort idf back to the golan at least otherwise we are going to see a constant land grab by the Israelis they didn’t even pull this with bashar and his drug army

There is a saying here in the UK, which applies to the current Turkieye / Syria equation ie, "If you break it, you own it..."

Turkieye broke Syria through its sponsorship, support of HTS.

People are expecting Turkieye to "own it", and so far, they are not.

That's not true

Syria was broken about a hundred years ago when the colonial states on purpose placed in power dictators from the alewite minority

Those dictators inflicted injustice and brutality upon the majority Arab sunni population

That oppression endured

What you have now is a RESET with Syria going back to its historical Arab sunni Muslim rule that's Inline with the Arab world

Between Turkey and the Arabs and Syria both the Kurds and Druze and alewites will be subdued

Israel is isolated and looking for allies and hopes it can create a natural barrier by the Golan heights by creating a druze state

But that's a big ask, as the druze have at most about a million members

Their has even been talking if a link between the druze and Kurds to Israel via the Syrian-iraqi border region

It's up to the government backed by the Arabs and Turkey to take hold of Syria and stamp it's authority

These things are played out over decades and generations

But events are happening which are HISTORICAL
and whether we realise it or not, even through the chaos a d bloodshed you are seeing the basis of the rise of the Muslim world

Syria? Of course not! I'm talking about Turkey.

#1 they haven't asked.

#2 Turkey isn't the first country Sharraa visited. He visited Saudi first, and the most amount of investment in Syria is from Saudi. The Emiratis were the ones who got the contract to manage ports in Latakia. Turkey is one of the partners of Syria, not the sole partner.

#3 Turkey is doing what it can objectively do, and make commitments to do.

I do find it odd that all the Pro Assad/Pro Iran people seem to be all up in Arms demanding Turkey do things, while the Syrians themselves have not complained. Maybe the same amount of "concern" should be placed in Lebanon where there are daily bombings and the Iranians seem to do nothing about it. Maybe Iran should do solidarity strikes on Israel for Hezbollah or deploy troops to Lebanon. This fake concern over Syria is most interesting from the adversaries of Turkey and the new govt.

Due to the poor handling and misguided policy of the Syrian regime toward Syria's components, the Zionist occupation seizes the opportunity.

The Zionist army advances inside Syria amid welcoming from some Syrian Druze.
