No? The whole point of BRICS is for the emerging markets to have a group that can trade or have their own bargaining power. At one point we will become developed markets, China can be considered a developed market now. In many cases they are at par with western markets.

Besides we can't have such exclusive clubs we will have to engage with the west in our own ways. BRICS is not some anti western group that many people think it is.

There is a reason why they are treating it with hostility, if you read the commentary, its not a mere trading club.

I agree its not "anti west" its to create an alternative eco system to he west. Its not hostile just interested in not remaining under a hegemony.
