WAR is coming to Pakistan from 2-3 fronts whether we like it or not. Afg/India nexus alongwith Israeli support and other players.
Pak estb can try its best to close its eyes and pretend its not coming......but sooner or later it will have to fight the final war for existence.
This can be a territorial as well as a fight over Access to Water. Take your pick.

When u don't finish the job of eliminating the enemy, this is bound to happen and WAR will be forced upon you again and again. Time is fast approaching to getting forced to use all those weapons that exist......unko sambhal ke rakhna ka waqt gya, ab istimal kerne honge.......no other choice.

question remains, how long will the mil-estb keep ignoring this??

Afghanistan will be mauled. Let another terror attack happen inside Pakistan. Both Israel and India will cry blood tears. What we saw recently was just the beginning. Afghanistan should know that Pakistan will pound it mercilessly.

The Taliban have achieved nothing, but misery since they came to power. It's people are dying of hunger. It has no medicines. The border is closed. Russian and Indian help is limited. The Taliban are hallucinating that they can wage a war against Pakistan.

our current blocades and bombings have mostly affected the innocent Afghans and it tears my heart apart. our hatred is mostly political, they live peacefully and respectfully among us. sadly we have mishandled our 2 western neighbours and we could've done better. This Achakzai will be dealt with. He is just another PTM. Let things heat up a little bit more. The current situation is untenable. I firmly believe that Pakistan will pounce on Afghanistan. It is only a matter of time. Another terrorist incident emanating from Afghanistan will happen sooner or later.

Mil establishment is the product of this same people of Pakistan that despite losing hundreds of thousands at the hands of relgious terrorists, still consider them as its angry brothers and see Dr Afia Sadiqui as nations daughter. the doctrine changes as the new leadership takes charge of establisment and a new toy is tried. there is no lesson learnt.

This is exactly the reason why Pakistan must take the fight to Afghanistan. Pakistan should be ahead of the curve. Sitting idle and reacting after terror incidents is a big no. Pakistan’s response to Afghan and Indian terrorism shouldn't be reactionary. Intelligence must be gathered and terror assets must be eliminated. The Taliban must feel the heat.

Any outside pressure must be ignored. This is a matter of security for Pakistan.

Therefore I do not care for the suffering of the common "innocent" Afghan, this smug moralism looks good on westerners for aesthetics who utilised every immoral method to defeat their enemies and build their nation but it looks stupid on us.

Get rid of this meek saviour complex, this is not a movie but real life.

I am not sure what you are alluding to when you say afghanistan has the right to support jihadis (Pakistan supported afghans were fighting foreign invaders and occupiers), unless you are referring to terrorists operating from afghanistan and killing Muslims in Pakistan, it is a nasty stupid comparison.

In any case, this will have no practical significance, except for political posturing.

The North Korean model is completely inapplicable to the Afghan Taliban.

1. North Korea and Russia have a formal military alliance treaty as a guarantee. This is the legal premise for the North Korean army to enter the Russian-Ukrainian battlefield in organized units to assist Russia. This provides North Korea and Russia with a shell of "legitimacy" in international diplomatic arena. The Afghan Taliban cannot do this. It would put Russia in an extremely passive position in international diplomatic arena.

2. North Korea and Ukraine are geographically distant, and separated by Russia and China. If Ukraine and its backers attempt to retaliate directly against North Korea, they must cross this barrier (which is tantamount to a formal declaration of war against China and Russia). Furthermore, North Korea possesses ICBMs and nuclear weapons. Once provoked, North Korea has a truly lethal direct strike capability. The Afghan Taliban has neither protective barriers nor means of retaliation. Ukraine and its backers can easily inflict a fatal blow on Afghanistan.

3. The Afghan Taliban army is highly tribalized and decentralized, and its weaponry is extremely outdated. Their combat effectiveness is based on familiarity with the terrain, employing counterinsurgency tactics such as mountain guerrilla warfare, close-quarters combat, and surprise attacks. This is significantly outdated compared to modern warfare. If Russia were to introduce Taliban soldiers from Afghanistan, it would have to provide them with a large number of translators and coordinators, while the actual effect would be very limited. This would not enhance combat power, but rather increase the burden.

I for once will welcome Afghans fighting for Russia, that will invite further sanctions from West, more dead Afghans, and for us we should just keep working towards create opposition within Afghanistan so they go back to fighting each other, seal our Borders and kick every Afghan and Afghan lover back to Afghanistan.
