You Can Stand In Three Different States At Once Within Cumberland Gap In Kentucky

Discover the Tri-State Peak Trail in Kentucky's Cumberland Gap National Historical Park, where you can stand in three states at once and enjoy scenic views and historical sites.

To the amusement of everyone around, I hopped from one state to another.....

Any of the Subaru Lesbians out there?
They're banned here - Strictly Body on Frame only.

It depends on the trails, Subarus are aplenty on the easy ones, and a few on those rated Moderate. The harder ones specify 4 wheel drive with a low range transfer case that weeds on the Subarus and suchlike. The hardest ones are for custom built vehicles only, and not allowed for rental Jeeps either. There are plenty of choices at every level..

I did a medium one with my audi - handled it ok until they did highlighted not to come on anything not body on frame.

Which trail did you do?

I think it is better to just rent a Jeep from Moab from one of the many places and really enjoy what the area has to offer. I would recommend at least a Rubicon with a 3 inch lift and 37 inch tires for maximum choice, since many trails have sudden bottlenecks and obstacles of some kind.

Going with at least two vehicles is also advisable for recovery, given that one is usually hours away from any help.

On a different note, the OMG French Toast from the Snooze Eatery in Denver is one of my favorites:

Now that I'm retired, need to spend some time in that part of Utah. Moab is not that far from Yavapai County.
