On 09 April 24, Security Forces conducted an intelligence based operation in South Waziristan District.

During conduct of the operation, after an intense fire exchange, two terrorists were successfully neutralised and sent to hell.

Weapons along with a large quantity of explosives were also recovered from killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.

Notice how no member has congratulated or liked this post. A little disappointing considering how significant this haul is:

The weapon in top right is an MP5 SD3 it comes fitted with a suppressor and this model was only issued to SSG/SPD and a small unit of SPG Sindh. So most definitely a stolen weapon recovered.

The orange spool is known as Det cord and is a main component is the manufacture of IEDs and suicide vests. The brown stuff in the bag is ANFO (home made explosive) and the white cake substance is TATP ( another home made HI- explosive that is highly volatile).

This is a great job by our security forces and should be commended and congratulated alas many on our forum now just shun such great news and continue to vomit political dross diminishing the genuine gains of our anti-terrorism operations.

Interestingly just last week customs seized a shipment of illegal laptops and tablets that had been smuggled from Afghanistan:

These tablets and laptops were likely issued to the ANA / Afghan government and its interesting to see how the talibunnys are selling such items to fund their operations.

This is alarming. There should be some serious investigation that how weapon can be stolen from SSG or SPG or any security force.

Sadly this is not too uncommon. The Det cord you see is most likely stolen from Taxila or Balochistan commercial mining projects.

Do you remember the raid on nine zero where police issued assault rifles were found?

Assault rifles from nine-zero is understandable as they remain in Govt and also were running a parallel militant gang. Unbelievable that Musharraf supported that group and gave them free hand. I am sure militant group of PPP (liyari gang and likes ) would have access to police weapons too.

But TTP getting access to such weapons is another thing. Either they have some insider help or some poor security of such weapons.

It’s more common than you think. Smalls arms go missing all the time. I remember when they conducted a search around abbotabad beacuse some gentlemen cadet had left his rifle G3 on a bench and forgot 😂🙄💀

@RescueRanger

We know in the past, the military had relations with certain militant groups. Most were created in General Zia tenure but even after 9/11, there were constant allegations by US that Pak do support Haqqanis and maybe few others. Do you still think ISI still have relationship with such militant groups?

This question comes to mind again after I read the allegations of Peshawar highcourt judges. Their allegation is that for political cases they were threatened by ISI directly and then through "non-state" actors. We also know couple of days ago, a session judge was kidnapped allegedly by TTP itself and then he was "safely" recovered. Not sure if the judge's abduction is related with PHC allegations or otherwise.

Sindhi Dakus capture all sorts of weapons from Sindh police, from small arms to RPGS and even intact APCs. Not unthinkable they sold an SP weapon for a quick buck to a middle man or directly to TTP.

Whole Nawabshah-RYK belt is Daku infested territory.

Exactly, like I said it’s not uncommon for this to happen.
