That kinda puts a big hole in those who say that Tesla is losing market share.

Seems like the leftist whackos have all forgotten they were supposed to hate Musk.

Did you notice:
cybertruck.png

Remember the Cybertruck is a disastrous flop at like $70K and yet it still ranked #9 in the list. How about all the other EVs that ranked worse than it? Shouldn't the press be pointing them out as flops too? Oh yeah right....not in a million years.

But let's just take a looky at all the EVs for sale in the US anyway....maybe there is only like 15 of them....oops wrong...oh my this isn't for the faint of heart....the list goes on for 8 pages....about 90 cars...yes 90. That expensive flop Cybertruck beat over 80 cars to make it to #9 on the list...but hey it was "the flop". That moron Elon Musk should be laughed at...not the 80 models that it somehow beat. 😲

Take a looky yourself:
 So who really are the ones with the flops....

but hey what do i know...lets hear what the experts in the press had to say about 10 years ago.

2017 Business Insider article

  • Tesla's most bullish fans are overestimating its potential in the future electric-car market.
  • Rivals like GM can ramp up production much faster and use existing EV platforms in several new models much faster than Tesla. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
  • Tesla is more likely to wind up being the sixth- or seventh-largest electric-vehicle maker in the long run. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Unfortunately for Tesla, competition across all segments would be impossible, so the carmaker would lose out on EV pickup and large SUV sales, as well as sales within segments, such as compact crossovers.
wow such dire predictions....that Tesla Model Y certainly will never make it in the compact crossover category.

Tesla's China sales still have a way to go before GM or Volkswagen have anything to worry about.
The Tesla Model Y was the #3 selling car (including gasoline ones) in China in 2025. It was #1 in 2023. Try again..

Elon Musk admits that millions of Tesla vehicles won’t get unsupervised FSD

Tesla vehicles with the company’s Hardware 3 (HW3) computer actually won’t receive unsupervised Full Self-Driving (FSD), CEO Elon Musk said on Wednesday’s Q1 2026 earnings call. Approximately 4 million Tesla vehicles operate on the HW3 platform, meaning that a significant chunk of Tesla owners — including customers that paid for the feature when they bought their cars — are now locked out of being able to use unsupervised FSD, which has been something Musk has been hyping for years, unless they upgrade their car or their car’s hardware.

I wish it were otherwise, but Hardware 3 simply does not have the capability to achieve unsupervised FSD. We did think at one point it would have that, but relative to Hardware 4, it has only one-eighth of the memory bandwidth of Hardware 4. And memory bandwidth is one of the key elements needed for unsupervised FSD.
For customers that have bought FSD, what we’re offering is essentially a discounted trade-in for cars that have AI4 hardware. We’ll also be offering the ability to upgrade the car to replace the computer. And you also need to replace the cameras, unfortunately, to go to Hardware 4. To do this efficiently, we’re going to have to set up microfactories, or small factories, in major metropolitan areas in order to do it efficiently. If it’s done at the service center, it’s extremely slow to do so and inefficient. We basically need mini production lines to make the change.
I do think over time it’s going to make sense for us to convert all Hardware 3 cars to Hardware 4, because that’s what enables them to enter the robotaxi fleet and have unsupervised FSD.

Tesla gets a massive order for the Semi: 370 units and $100M

wattev_inc_logo

WattEV, a leading provider of electric freight operations and charging infrastructure in the United States, has announced one of the largest deployments of electric Class 8 trucks in California history: an order for 370 Tesla Semis.

Valued at approximately $100 million, this marks the state’s biggest single electric truck order to date and signals accelerating momentum for zero-emission long-haul freight.
