American manufacturer of electric cars Tesla recalls more than 23 thousand electric pickup trucks Cybertruck. According to the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), almost 11.7 thousand cars are likely to have a malfunction of the electric motor of the windshield wiper drive ("wipers"), which can reduce visibility and increase the risk of an accident.
In addition, over 11.38 thousand Cybertruck are being recalled due to a problem with the trunk liner, which may not be properly attached. Such a defect could cause the trim to come off and create a hazard on the road for other motorists, Interfax news agency writes. Tesla said that the company is not aware of any accidents, injuries or fatalities related to these problems.
