You need to stop pissing on China.

They produced DUV lithography machines. They are technologically advanced.
Not only in technology but also in industry, they are massive.

Everyone will be eventually on their own.

We do respect Turkiye's encourage and determination to become more self-reliant.

China in the past was often mocked as a poor quality copycat just like everyone will start off from scratch.

We would be more glad to see more progression of the KAAN and its turbofan engine development, but just refrain to put China with the misleading references and false information.

It is very disrespectful to our workers who have dedicated their lifetime to achieve the result.

The ecosystems behind advanced DUV(EUV) is Japanese and German.
They're not going to replicate that for decades.

Japan and Germany cannot produce the DUV without relying on the international supply chain. Nor the US can do that alone.

China was practically banned by the US of using any critical component from the western alliance controlled supply chain.

Japan has also recently banned China from accessing the indispensable photoresist for both DUV and EUV.

But China still has overcome the mass production of the DUV, and the EUV is also on the way.

And I am also proud to say if Turkiye wants to become self-reliant, then China will be your ultimate role model.

I didn't bash Turkiye nor KAAN, nor your domestic turbofan engine project.

Just ask you to stop quoting China with misleading information.

Deino is a Chinese military observer, but he is not Chinese, nor we can refrain him to express his opinion from his own observation.

Many of the Chinese military observers including me have odds with Deino in some opinions and commentaries.

But at least we can still engage in constructive opinion rather than calling each other name.

Türkiye doesn’t have China’s size, China’s population, or China’s strategic insulation. We don’t get guaranteed tech transfers from anyone — not the West, not China. We’re building self‑reliance the hard way, with no one holding our hand.

So yes, we can learn from China’s mindset, but our path will be our own. Different scale, different constraints, same goal.full independence.

At least Turkiye has the good mindset of making good visible progress in both aerospace and UAV, and become a good niche competitor to China in some area, which is still admirable.

China's advantage is that it started projects in the 1980s and received technological support from Russia and USSR

Turkiye, on the other hand, started major aviation projects like KAAN - ANKA-3 , KIZILELMA ,TF-35.000 Engine in the last 10 years and is progressing quite well


Turkiye even faced an embargo on supplies of critical materials

In order to overcome embargoes and export restrictions, Turkiye has successfully developed and produced cobalt, titanium and nickel-based superalloys, which were not sold to Türkiye, entirely from scratch using domestic resources


Turkiye achieves these successes without having a massive budget like the US and China.
