Yeah I don't mind him i just wish he didn't create threads that are going to attract all the forum trolls to flock in and start a troll fest. Should just be more chill about things.

He was still a lone wolf posting on the old http://defence.pk even though we have all moved here. He had his quota of new threads with the word "China" in it to fill so he found he could work over there in peace without any of us bothering him...but I'd keep an eye on him anyway. One day he got angry because I started posting again on the old site when he started falling back into creating troll threads.

We’ve moved forward as Pakistan and you can see that many, many of us are proud to be Pakistani today, not foreigners. I still find too many 95% Hongkongers seem to identify as British today more than Chinese. That’s what I don’t understand.

For Canada - yes, it is still part of the British white club too long.

I don't think they dislike being Chinese,not at all. They just don't want to be ruled by the CCP and Beijing and there was differences in the behavior and mindset between them and mainlanders. Probably non-cantonese areas anyway. They grew up for more than a 100 years in a certain way,they loved that way,they took pride it in,with its ups and downs
and when they were given back to China,they were shocked.

Because it was probably quite different for them. British colonialism wasn't the same everywhere. They probably had much more prosperity and freedom,maybe even respect and certain equality with the Brits there,rather than for example the subcontinent or Malay had with them. When you see flocks of Hong Kongers leaving right before the handover and 20 years later,many of them protesting with hundreds of British Hong Kong flags in the streets,that means something. And no idiotic "oh they trying regime change american dog want stirr trouble" PRC excuses will convince anyone.
