¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Many countries, including countries in Asia, are actually better than the United States in some respects.
At the very least, they don't have tens of thousands of gun-related deaths every year.

Nor do they have more than 1,000 people killed every year by police brutality.

2023 saw record killings by US police. Who is most affected?

Police in the US killed at least 1,232 people last year, making 2023 the deadliest year for homicides committed by law enforcement in more than a decade, according to newly released data.

The group recorded 30 more deaths in 2023 than the previous year, with 1,202 people killed in 2022; 1,148 in 2021; 1,160 in 2020; and 1,098 in 2019. The numbers include shooting victims, as well as people fatally shocked by a stun gun, beaten or restrained. The 2023 count is preliminary, and cases could be added as the database is updated.

Shouldn’t someone who has been convicted of seditious conspiracy to overthrow the government be sent to prison?

LOL! She held a quiet vigil..while this guy actually led a mob that stormed the capital building, overwhelmed security, attacked lawmakers, and destroyed stuff.

I'm really sorry I mentioned My China ™ and got you offended
You don't need to apologize to me; I have no interest in your country's laws or how they are handled. You can convince yourself if you want.
I think many people are interested in how the United States, which has always claimed to be a beacon of humanity, has fallen to such a state.
I want to ask when it can be made into a movie?

How could they be rioters? Trump pardoned them, so they’re not rioters.

Some of these Proud Boys members even accused the justice system of unfair treatment after being pardoned, alleging that prosecutors were involved in “tampering with evidence” and “intimidating witnesses,” and seeking $100 million in damages.

In the eyes of Trump, the president of the United States, the world’s foremost superpower and a country that calls itself the land of freedom, they are heroes who represent justice. 😍

Pardon? Every president's followers who commit crimes and eventually leave office receive a get-out-of-jail-free card. And this card requires a powerful patron to purchase?
The powerful and influential people love the lighthouse of freedom the most.

Yes. Even relatives of a U.S. president can receive pardons for criminal offenses.

Biden is a good example. 😍 (y)

Hong Kong court sentences 3 Tiananmen vigil organizers to prison

Three Hong Kong activists who organized annual vigils in remembrance of China's 1989 Tiananmen Square crackdown were sentenced Friday to about 5 to 7 years in prison in a case widely seen as a barometer of the city's eroding freedoms as Beijing clamps down on dissent.
