The Prime Minister of Singapore travels on official duty aboard a low-cost airline

And Pakistan.............

Pakistan doesn’t have low cost airlines to begin with.. so they can’t travel

Singapore doesn’t have Talibaboons like us so their politicians don’t die in random terrorist attacks

Not sure why we make such comparisons.

PS: I noticed the security in London is tightened since last couple of weeks, possibly due to reports of potential attack anticipated after the RAF Fairford saga… and Pakistan has faced such attacks for decades… not just anticipation

But they can travel in local airlines in VIP class. Only Mariam Nawaz who is least security threat of anyone using the most expensive plane, basically whole Sharrif family has there own govt provided planes. Bullet proof cars are understandable, but bullet proof planes is something new for everyone in the family ...lol... Shahbaz, Dar, Mariam, Mohsin Naqvi, Army Chief, CC etc ...

This is a "traditional" political stunt in Singapore.

It serves no practical purpose; it is purely a political show.

Singapore is an extremely wealthy nation. For its government, a VIP private jet is the equivalent of an everyday passenger car. Yet, these politicians choose to do the exact opposite by publicly flying on budget airlines. This is a classic political stunt.

Let’s be realistic! For politicians, safe and efficient modes of travel should always be the priority. The specific method of transport chosen should simply be appropriate given the nation’s overall circumstances. For a politician from a highly affluent country to deliberately opt for this approach clearly contradicts basic common sense. There is only one reason for such behavior: a political stunt.

Exactly, and he is the highest paid Prime Minister/President in the world. His salary is even bigger than Donald Trump. Just recently its salary being increased again

The greatest benefit of this kind of political theater is that it intensely stirs up public sentiment in other countries—while simultaneously burnishing the image of the Singaporean government!

When citizens of other nations witness such political theater from Singapore, they immediately draw comparisons to the politicians in their own countries—much like you are doing now.

In reality, this is a sophisticated form of political attack.

You can't get any more low-cost than flyJinnah.

Its basically airarabia of Sharjah with divided shares between (Pakistan & the Emirate of Sharjah).

They use an A330 MRTT when they dont want to do publicity stunts.

Pakistan does have a problem with a VIP culture. You look at the images of the Indian National Assembly (Lok Sabha) then compare with Pakistan's National Assembly and see how simple the Indian arrangement is: Almost like some Baptist Church of America seats.

The OP had some political goals to score but let's not forget that the ousted PM of Pakistan Mr. Imran Khan took a helicopter to / from his house to work; the cost told was Rs. 1.3 million per day while he lived in his rather lavish house.

They are all one and the same in Pakistan.

Air travel is the safest form of travel in Pakistan. They all used to travel on PIA, until nani got herself a private jet.

Vip culture in Pakistan is a curse. If you or I have to face a terror threat, then so should they. The PM of Pakistan is worth no more than the rickshaw driver.
