Montella is actually a problem. He didn't want to start Arda Güler in the eleven against Czech Republic. It is only when the media and fans started to complain did he allow Arda to play. Look it up on YT. It was a big story in Türkiye.
What I noticed is that by the end,Arnautovic on the Austrian side was fatigued,as well as a few other players and the coach still kept them in and expected them to score.

The Austrians really kept attacking to the last second. Literally.

That was expected though. That is what often happens when a team is leading by a small margin. They fall back and start depending. I don't agree with this philosophy, but that is me. In my opinion the team leading should keep pressing forward to apply pressure on the opposition.

can ≠ easily

It is not going to be an easy game for sure, but Türkiye has the quality and ability to defeat the Brits. Let's be honest. The Brits haven't played good at all. From a purely football perspective they shouldn't even be in the quarter finals. England has been playing anti-football.

Arnautovic played a good game. He used to play in The Netherlands for FC Twente. I know this player quite well because even back in the day he used to score quite often in the Dutch league Eredivisie. They were all exhausted more than usual because in the second half it started drizzling until the end.

My 9 year old did a sweep at school. He picked Turkey - Holland and Portugal. Last night Turkey looked dangerous on the break and the goalkeeper is simply world class. I think they have good team spirit and could go all the way.....

You won't believe it, but the Turkish goalkeeper has actually been a problem during the initial stage of the tournament. Türkiye has been experimenting with reserve goalkeeper which was also a disaster. Have a look at the Portugal game.

Yesterday the Turkish goalkeeper played a really good game which was unexpected. He saved a goal attempt towards the end which was surreal.

The problem is that there is too many big names in the same position. Exactly like the England Golden Generation, there was Lampard, Steven Gerrard Rooney etc... Now they have Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden and Cole Palmer. How tf can you play Saka as left back hahahaha.
drop kane play jude as #9/striker...fodden doesnt look good for england need to be dropped. but southgate is a **** and cant drop kane thats the issue!

The Austrians are bitter. Very bitter. Blaming weather, fans, Turkish players etc.

This was a game of football. The referee was brilliant and let the game flow. No VAR rubbish either.
What a battle, this was a good old fashioned clash of passionate players who wanted to win at all cost.
Amazing !
Congratulations Turkey 🇹🇷

English football team had easiest group the media hype them up and the players begin to believe all the hype . They are really only average players living in a false world. Hopefully Dutch will kick 🦵 them out next game. They are rubbish team of this tournament!

Turkey's ranking (42) is fair given their results before this tournament (drew with Armenia and Wales, lost to Japan, Hungary, Austria, Poland), but they will get a boost with these recent wins.

Turkish team doesnt care about friendly matches

Turkiye does not participate in tournaments very often
But when we joined, Turkiye played great matches and played in the semi-finals

Turkiye qualified for the FIFA World Cup 3 times, in 1950, 1954 and 2002.
2002 World Cup
Semi Final : Brazil = 1 vs Turkiye = 0
Third Place play off : Turkiye = 3 vs S.Korea = 2

Turkiye qualified for the UEFA Euro Cup 6 times, in 1996, 2000 , 2008 , 2016 ,2020 and 2024
Euro 2008
Semi Final : Germany = 3 vs Turkiye = 2
( Many of the most important Turkish players did not play in the semi-final against Germany )

If we beat the Netherlands in this tournament, England will be an easy opponent

We can go for Final ...

Netherlands play Turkey next not England

unless you are simply very confident that England will defeat Switzerland and Netherlands will defeat Turkey
