I PROPOSE an Amendment for Peace, to the Constitution of the
United States:

1. The removal of members of the land armed forces from within the continental limits of the United States and the Panama Canal Zone for any cause whatsoever is prohibited.

2. The vessels of the United States Navy, or of the other branches of the armed service, are hereby prohibited from steaming, for any reason whatsoever except on an errand of mercy, more than five hundred miles from our coast.

3. Aircraft of the Army, Navy and Marine Corps is hereby prohibited from flying, for any reason whatsoever, more than seven
hundred and fifty miles beyond the coast of the United States.

Such an amendment would be absolute guarantee to the women of America that their loved ones never would be sent overseas to be needlessly shot down in European or Asiatic or African wars that are no concern of our people.
SUCH an amendment, linked with adequate naval and military
defenses at home, would guarantee everlasting peace to our nation.

Donald Trump has sparked a fresh row with Denmark after appointing a special envoy to Greenland, the vast Arctic island he has said he would like to annex.
In response to a question from the BBC about the new role of Jeff Landry, the Republican governor of Louisiana, Trump said the US needed Greenland for "national protection" and that "we have to have it".

Landry, he said, would "lead the charge" as special envoy to Greenland, a semi-autonomous part of the Kingdom of Denmark.
The move has angered Copenhagen, which said it would call the US ambassador for "an explanation". Greenland's prime minister said the island must "decide our own future" and its "territorial integrity must be respected".

Gov Landry said in a post on X that it was an honour to serve in a "volunteer position to make Greenland a part of the US".

Americans need to realize that Trump creates enemies all over the world, resulting in increased danger on American soil.

The U.S. is moving from global dominance to global captivity, leaving only a single war.

Anyone who hopes for peace is worthy of respect.

If even half of America’s politicians wished for peace like you do, the world would see far fewer wars. People would not lose their lives, nor would they lose their loved ones. Children in Gaza would not starve, and people in Gaza would not be shot by Israeli soldiers for a bite of food. The United States would remain stable, and there would not be so many tragedies.

But none of this exists. The power of peace is insignificant in the face of the interests of American and Israeli politicians.

The United States has already been controlled by Jewish people and is waging wars all over the world. The U.S. bombs Iran and Yemen, supports Israel in the massacre of Palestinians, bombs Qatar, Syria, and Lebanon. The U.S. supports Ukraine against Russia. The U.S. supports India in its aggression against Pakistan. The U.S. sends troops to blockade Venezuela.

In November 2023, Chinese leaders met with U.S. President Biden. Chinese leaders pointed out that this Earth can accommodate both China and the United States. The success of each is an opportunity for the other.

However, the U.S. sells weapons to Taiwan, supports Japanese militarism in interfering with China’s internal affairs, and directly provokes China in the Asia-Pacific region.

It now seems that the desire for world peace is difficult to achieve. American and Israeli politicians gain benefits, while the American people bear all the consequences.
