Your only bet are the small operators. You are looking at total of less than 100 combat aircraft
Angola
Armenia
Belarus
Ethiopia
Indonesia
Kazakhstan
Malaysia
Myanmar
Uganda
Venezuela
Gee, I wonder what your expert ANALysis are of HAL's awesome TEJAs...

You clearly have a strong opinion about who Pakistan can sell our JF-Thunders.

So...how many Nations have taken an interest
Gangu's TEJA?

How are those F404 Engines coming along?

Pakistan sells the JF-17 to Azerbaijan, and suddenly Indians are like, "We need to sell TEJAs to Armenia. Jaldi".

Sour grapes must taste awful....!

A quick question. Werent there reports that the JF17 was struggling to make a sale because of the cracks in airframe with Myanmar airforce?? How true is that and if so was that resolved?

Mikoyan is dead. There is no real Russian replacement for MiG-21 and MiG-29

The large Flanker operators are not touching JF-17
Russia, China, India, Algeria, Vietnam

Great list of potential buyers, you forgot Iraq PAF stated they have shown interest and have evaulated it. I expect that contract probably has got closer to signing after the Azeri deal.

Take Armenia off.

Indonesia, Malaysia and Kazaks could be relatively decent order sized 18-36

This nonsense only spread by Indian social media sites on net, no respected defense websites like Jane's defense weekly/flight global/aviation week etc etc posted any issues on JF-17 airframe on Myanmar airforce

So don't believe this crap stories by Indian social media sites

Contract can happen of pakistan just do a barter trade for LNG
Pay for CAC part by its own money
Though Pakistan is broke and its policy makers stupid

That is splendid. If we pulled something off like this it would be a success story for the JF.

Don't believe in Indian fake propaganda.
India is struggling hard to make Tejas progress go forward. They can't compete Pakistani JF-17 program so every now and then some paid Indian troll writes a blog from inside a hut in mountains and try to feed lies to public, especially their own.

Like a person above state , it is welcomed to see Pakistan Airforce focused on expanding the footprint of JF17 Block III across Eurasia

Missed Opportunity we could have sold 500 Jets across region 10 years ago via China help

  • Turkey (150 units)
  • Azerbaijan (50 units)
  • Iran (100 units)
  • Syria (100 units)
  • Eygpt (100 units
  • Bangladesh (50 units) <High Potential for sale now>

-----------------------------
Current Thunder Footprint

Azerbaijan - 24 Orders Pending Delivery <high potential for reorder>
Iraq - 12 Orders Pending Delivery <high potential for 100 plane>
Nigeria - 3 Orders <Need new order>
Myannamr - 11 Orders (5 pending Delivery)

Unless Pakistan opens up more production lines Pakistan won't be able to meet the demand. That should be the strategy for the next generation, production lines for home use and production lines for export.

Very confusing indeed. If this is true that “Azerbaijan had already taken the delivery of its first Pakistani made JF-17C Block III multirole fighters…. “ and also the planes participating in the airshow had Pakistani markings.

Is it possible that while these three PAF planes flew to Baku for participation in the airshow and the delivery planes were sent to Azerbaijan in a cargo plane? That seems to be the only plausible reconciliation of apparent contradictions.

The K-8 trainer jet is used by at least 13 countries (besides Pakistan). Many of those 13 countries might be the potential buyers of JF-17 too.
